Would something like this work?

/cast [@Ebon Gargoyle] Turn Evil; Turn Evil

Basically if a Garg exists, you fear it. If not, you fear your target.

Edit: Along those lines...Hunter macros that use the phrase [pet:crab] work even when you name the thing something else. Could /cast [@Felhunter] Turn Evil work?

Guess I need to just go duel some bitches and test it out.

The first macro would work, although I have to agree that a mouseover macro would be much better just because you have more control over what your doing, but the second one wouldn't work, as it's an @ macro. When you make an @ macro you have to use the pet's name or it's frame name.

For sure, already using that...just sometimes Gargs can float in odd places and if it could auto target Felhunters it'd probably help a lot too.

Also for anyone currently using mouseover macros, replace them with the following:

/cast [@mouseover,exists,nohelp] Turn Evil; Turn Evil

This way, if you have a mouseover, you cast on it...otherwise you cast on your target.

Wondering now if I could just type in every possible Felhunter name for a Turn macro, haha

/cast [@ebon gargoyle,exists] turn evil; turn evil
/cast [@arenapet1] turn evil
/cast [@arenapet2] turn evil
/cast [@arenapet3] turn evil

that might work for all fearable pets + garg but im not 100% sure

You can't have [@Ebon Gargoyle] because of the space. The only workarounds are:

/target Ebon Gargoyle
/cast Turn Evil
/targetlasttarget

or

/cast [@mouseover] Turn Evil

I personally use the second because I've just had bad experiences with /targetlasttarget macros. I do the same for shackling on my priest.
