I've been looking at the hunters in Korea and 95% of them run arena as Survival. Now I've played a lot of MMO's for many years, and Koreans LIVE to play games... calculating every little detail as to what spec/gear they should use.

http://www.arenajunk...ayer/KR/Hunter/

They're all the same 0/14/57...
No point in GFTT, They'd rather have 1 extra second on Entrapment. No 5/5 points in Improved Tracking even though it's doable. And from what I can tell... they all seem to use a Crab.

Is this because of the many *heroic* items many of them seem to have? Heroic Death's Choice, Heroic offpieces... Their character stats are pretty impressive.

Does anyone play in Korea? I'm getting back into my hunter and am interested in their spec decisions.

Hmm.
Wat?

Surv. aint a bad spec, but i seriosly dont feel that it is better than MM when it comes to output of damage.
Have no idea why they would prefer survival over MM. Only thing that would shot into my mind is, that Koreans does not like to be trained... cough..

Vhell at MLG 2010 at Sodah vs tremor totem:

"Tremor totem is a totem that will pulse and break fears. Right when you drop it, it will break fears too. What we saw was Sodah targeting the tremor totem right from the start, he has a macro that will target the tremor totem..."

a well played (read: gay pillarhugging with slowtrap and going defensive at the slightest indication of trouble) survival hunter is incredibly hard to kill, and annoying to face.

Alltho only Xlaw from the hunter ive met played it good that way. I'd love to see Biuret play :|

The Korean WoW scene is a lot weaker than other games. Just being Korean doesn't magically make you amazing at video games.

Might be a stupid question, but does heroism effect the speed of explosive shot ticks?

Isn't surv good against caster cleaves in the sense that you can pop out from behind a pillar and explosive shot then just go chill behind while mm takes a few globals? I could be wrong but that's what I've understood.
