My priest has been disc. for a long time, and since I'm not playing so actively - I have decided to try shadow....
I have asked a few friends for advises, however I'd like to get a few more point of views..

My situation is that I have full 4/5 mooncloth wrathful, crafted "Leggings of Woven Death" (crafted with haste/crit) the ilvl 277 necklace from gunship with hit, and I have purified lunar dust as the only good trinket from PvE.
My race is Human, so I'm kinda forced to PLD and Battlemaster arent I?

Which combos works well with my build, containing a lot of mana regen because of all the spirit etc?

thanks in advance!

Kingest Regards,
Lolcu

any combo works with that setup of gear you should go with either haste bm trinket or get one of the pve trinkets like dfo or the new one from ruby sanctum

I'm sitting at approximately 700 haste, 3700 sp and like 12% crit.. 1120 resilience

Thats with SP battlemasters. Should I change it with haste one?

This combo mantains a good burst, while having long endurance right?

Pretty much opposite of rogue spriest shaman I guess....

I was asked to play this setup(rps) the shaman got full wrathful t1 weapon, and he seems fairly decent... How much resilience should I get?

You just have to play defensive until your team gets all the CC up on targets without trinket, then you blow something up.:D
But yeah i would recommend mooncloth for this setup, some fights could take ages :)

I actually liked being able to play like a UA lock dotting everything with haste/sp/regen. I know Shouri runs mooncloth (both as disc and shadow) for his RPS and shatterplay. Disperse has also gone mooncloth.

Either gearing works. Which one is better? For shit BGs and shit teams, go crit...you can probably RNG people down all day and they won't know how to adapt.

But as I've been saying all season, the only way you're going to outmuscle -top- teams is by quickly re-establishing dots into korean switches and being able to turtle with decent pressure if if/when you need your offensive cooldowns again.

Its Season fucking 8 - WOTLK has been out a while and no one is stupid enough to die in a stunlock anymore unless they're really, really out of cooldowns...in which case you win anyway since you DO NOT need crit to end them at that point....and the extra mana/sp from mooncloth reliably lets you make those switches, maintain that pressure, and do what you have to do to get them to the point where they'll die in a stunlock. Sure you can get them to blow CDs by chain critting A, then chain critting B, then chain critting A again etc etc...but again the same thing can pretty much be accomplished while in mooncloth.

No matter how you look at it, satin is RNG play. Burst and zerg strats are big gambles. The only consistent way to be rank1 or tournament level as shadow is to out-mana people in various ways....or be lucky enough to have all the best PvE gear and then take your chances critting people. What crit won't give you is the ability to outlast dispel cleaves, offheal beast cleaves and out-work triple healer comps.

Yeah don't play RPS.

Fixed. Show me a rank1 RPS, or even a top10 RPS, on a decent BG. The only one I can think of is Shouri's and he uses mooncloth or sometimes 2pc/2pc. Against good teams that don't let you reset easily, you need to get your regen in there somehow be it from 2pc, trinkets, 4pc, or spec.

So one example means it's the only viable or most viable gearset for RPS? I'd say that satin with solace is better as solace alone gives just as much regen or more than full mooncloth set for one trinket slot.

Pretty sure I've never gone oom in an RPS game outside of dispel cleave and then I'm oom for like 10 seconds at the most between mana tide/dispersion
