- Focused Insight 5/5
After casting any Shock spell, youre next heal's mana cost is reduced by 75% by the cost of the Shock spell, and its healing effectivness increased by 25%.

Would be nice if they gave us a shock that healed or had some kind of defensive buff to be used on friendly targets. Riptide could be called life shock or something. I just don't see how it would be effective to earth/frost/flame shock an enemy then follow with a heal on an ally.

I think the point is to give shaman some more benefit for going offensive. I have a feeling it won't work for shear though. It's a nice talent since it'd give you an almost free shock + a bigger heal.

Earthquake 1/1 86%Basemana 35yards 1,5sec casting(channeled) 15 seconds Cooldown.
You cause the earth at target location to tremble and break, dealing 36 physical damage ever 1 sec to enemies in 10 yard radius, with a 30% chance of knocking down affected targets. Last 10 sec.

sounds a lot like DnD horrify
wonder how long that'll last

It still exists and is called Holy Shock. Unfortunelty they gave it to the Wrong Class.

wind shear doesn't really cost any mana at all, so it wouldn't be very strong.

I dont think he was referring to the mana portion just the fact that shear is usually used close to on cd and is also off the gcd for the extra 25% healing. That being said i dont think it will work off shear only shocks.

unlike to wind shock (as it was before) wind shear has no gcd and does not share cd's with other shocks, so there is no reason at all to consider it a shock spell
the talents seems to be pretty good nevertheless

with how little mana shocks will cost (and considering the healing buff you get) we will probably be using them on cd.

i wish they would move the 9% of your health on totem talent from enhance to resto. As i play all 3 speccs i feel its more needed as resto. Mainly because they will aim their fears towards you. As enhance or ele if you just dont hug your healer you can drop a new totem straight away after they fear him, if they fear you, get dispelled :o

Or just make it on top of enhanc tree so all 3 specs can get it.

So many resto shamans say this about every good talent in ele and enhance, it's getting old.

However, the fact that is in the enhance tree is to make enhance more of a melee class. A resto or ele shaman can do just fine LoS'ing for a second to put down a totem so somebody can't just melee it. However, enhance cannot do the same without severely impacting their performance. Tremor totem would become extremely overpowered for ele/resto if they had access to the 9% health.

Not really impressed by anything except earthquake, which is obviously overpowered as mentioned previously, being akin to S5 DnD.

Will definitely get nerfed. I just want the wc3 incarnation of it while doing damage (slowing + damage, like imp. blizzard). Is that too much to ask for?

all that needs to happen is stoneclaw is changed into a spell from a totem so you can shield your tremor totem.

I am thinking like the new purge must be insaine vs druids when you litterly can remove 9 buffs in 3 globals.
