Well I'm not 100% sure what the (edited) numbers say, but I'm not 100% sure the way I calculated is correct.
Also got a sticky on haste in the warlock section if you need more clarification :).

Blowi just saying, your haste calcs are off. Haste is added multiplicatively not additively.

13% passive in combat
Flame shock dispelled 30%
Bloodlust 30%
Elemental mastery 15%
Wrath of air 5% 36.2355

30+21+7.35+5.4145+1.811775 =/= 65.576275%

Max haste you can get with the mock setup you said was about 66%.

It is not possible to get 93% unless you have higher base bonuses.

Yes sorry for some minor mistakes, we really didnt put a deadline I just wrote some text off my mind and I must admit it was abit sloppy. However the final results are great so enjoy them, thankes for noticing the noobish calcuations. Its correct now though! :)

Is it better to stack SP/Haste gems or SP/Crit gems? I see a few high SK arena players just stacking purely SP/Crit gems.

That entirely depends on what you wish to aim for, and if your gear supplies enough haste for your wish, but I'd recommend a shaman to get 450-500 haste, and this is without relic proceed :)

no idea how spell haste works

but it is multiplicative, not additive.

but while that sounds like "oooo yay multiply means more is better" its really multiplying decimals so the more haste you have atm the less effective adding haste is.

IE when you have bloodlust on and pop EM you gain less haste than if you didnt have bloodlust. but still overall you'll be casting faster with both...

kkkkkkk math yay -_-

Your rep bar will eventually fill the whole screen if you keep making these posts :<

Edit: To add to this, if one has enough haste from pve gear, Bizuris Totem of Shattered Ice isnt necessarily always the best choice. For example, I'm running with 366 passive haste from gear so I use Thunderfall instead of Bizuri, since my LB:s are already 1s under dispel+bl+em.

You do mention wrath of air totem but you might want to mention the situations where you do have that laid down. And how you might not have grounding (i assume you dont) totem in your totem set and drop it individually. Another thing I like to do is drop a grounding 5 sec until a match on RoV starts so the CD is up when the fight begins because I know the first spell will get grounded anyways... just something small I do, dont know if anyone else does it.

I do the exact same thing. I sit at the back of the elevator, drop grounding approximately 8 seconds before it reaches the top (which is like 1 or 2 seconds before enemy unit frames show the other team) and then mount up and get ready to jump the edge and get behind the pillar.

90% of the time I ground a purge/dispel/coi, rarely I ground something better like a grip from a dumb dk.

The only thing with your spec blowi is that it can't apply to other races ( I think anway )

I have the same hit rating as you, but I have to talent to make up for a Draenei's racial. Is it worth dropping the point and putting it into Unrelenting Storm?

4% hit isnt hard to get as any faction, unrelenting storm is probably one of THE most important talents that shamans often forget. Check either mine or Blowi's armory to get a hang of how to gear, glhf! :)
