I haven't tested this change but how are other priests feeling versus TSG's or PHDk with this new change? I felt it was unhealable versus PHDk and TSG was comfortable until they were ready to DG Bladestorm me, wherein I could sometimes survive anyways, comments / thoughts?

couple hundred more dmg on DG->Bladestorm combo would not make it any much worse, consider DK bursts with deathcoils and it has almost no relation with # of diseases.

having blood plague and ebon plague on a target greatly increases deathcoil's dmg

10% damage from rage of rivendare (blood plague)

13% magic damage from ebon plague.

Sigh at all warriors crying about this change
put a Titanium Weapon Chain in your weapon, problem solved.
Blizzard just accomplished what is needed, warriors losing some attack power and doing less damage.
TA-DA.

What I don't get is... why do priests have this cute spell called Abolish disease? Since you're not gonna meet any ferals in highratings ( maybe 1 or 2 ), this spell will be COMPLETELY useless. Can any1 explain the use of this buff? We should give mages undispelable novas, rogues undispelable poisons, druids undispelable hots and locks/priests udispelable dots... Dumbass change.

i feel like TSGs are free wins for RMPs, unless they go for a bullshit kill on RoV, where they blow deathgrip / ams / strangulate / bladestorm / HoJ in like first 15 seconds and catch u with ur pants down. then again, i dont think there are any 2500+ TSG's on my battlegroup ><

PHDks are kind of a toss up i guess, depending on how good the hunter is imo.

im much more concerned with pve geared beast cleaves lol /shrug

Because no other classes have abilties they don't use in arena/pvp? :rolleyes:

Those examples are terrible too Cause Locks have UA which can go off for like 10k or something? + natural dispel resist (i think)

Shadow Priest Dot does nice damage when removed

Rogue poisons erm maybe cause they stack up so fast and don't cost GCD or cds to apply..

Its like everyone is acting as if diseases are now 100% dispellable at all times.

The debuff lasts only 10 seconds and will go on one target pretty much all the time. It would be overpowered if we could keep diseases up 100% on EVERY target.

Blizzard is taking an approach like they do with rogues. Diseases/poisons will fall off old targets and allow them to be dispelled, but the target we are on won't get rid of them.

So we take more damage, but you're saying it's okay because now mending won't bounce. Cool.

Hehe, removing soothe magic/detect magic trash buffs.
Hehe, can't interrupt feldom.
Hehe, give locks less dots so they don't have to worry about uptime/DoT rotation as much.
Hehe, make more shit undispellable (diseases)

abolish disease/poison and cleansing totem are pretty mindless. Not disagreeing with you necessarily. However I don't know (or care to think of) a logical middle ground for protection. Just flat 50% resist is stupid cuz all we need is more RNG in this game.

kills dk damage, makes their playstyle horrid (imagining playing rogue and combo points just falls off at random intervals)

Diseases apply on their own from attacks, where as you have to cast abolish. Abolish poison and poison totem were in the game before. The reason they're so hard to get off NOW is because they stack (deadly), crippling so it's harder to get off but at least they come off.

Make the diseases stack, up to 5 times, but obviously 1 application would be 1/5th of it's current power until it reaches 5/5 where it would be at it's maximum power like it is now.

Actually think for once Blizzard, ugh.

Rogues poisons are dispelable? I was unaware of this.

In all seriousness though, getting a rogues poisons off, is very difficult.

So you're implying that putting abolish disease on yourself when you seen a dk, was not mindless? Well "mindless" is quite vague, considering in a DK's pov, im sure he would consider it mindless that a priest uses abolish disease and tanks him like a champ while mashing dispel on whoever he wants.

Abolish Spells are the most mindless shit in the game. Even when DKs first came out and I had no idea what each disease did, I just kept it up and knew I would be ok. Good change.
