#showtooltip Shadowfiend
/cast [nopet] Shadowfiend
/petpassive
/petattack
/cast [harm, pet] Shadowcrawl; [target=pettarget, pet] Shadowcrawl
/cast [target=shadowfiend] Dispel Magic

I like passive better than aggressive, was trying the same macro with an aggressive pet, and it was constantly breaking CCs. This way you can control your pet's shadowcrawl with macro and have it switch off for CC, if that's still a problem.

This is more of a request for a macro but im looking for 2 different modifier macros that I could not get to work for the life of me.

The first one im looking for is no modifier bubble myself and shift modifier power infuse myself. For some reason having the target=hydroheals or w/e (can't get on wow right now to check it out) wouldn't work.

The second would be no modifier mouse over renew and shift modifier sw:d nearest target.

Much thanks to those who help

the first one is easy:

/use [mod:shift,@player]power infusion;[@player]power word: shield

the second one is more complicated, but something like this should work. remember that nearest-target SWDs are unreliable and i really suggest you don't use it.
/use [nomod:shift,@mouseover,help,nodead]renew
/stopmacro [nomod:shift]
/cleartarget
/targetenemyplayer
/use shadow word: death

Thanks man ill give em a try next time I get on my priest

There's nothing wrong with the format at all, so either you've messed up the macro text somehow, or you're expecting something different from it.

SWD focus
/cast [nomodifier,target=focus] Shadow Word: Death

Self penance
/cast [target=cwantom] Penance

Self PS
/cast [target=cwantom] Pain Suppression

Self Shield
/cast [target=cwantom] Power Word: Shield

Pet thingy (Press it = summon pet, if pet is out it will shadowcrawl)
/cast [nopet,harm][nopet,target=targettarget,harm] Shadowfiend
/cast shadowcrawl
/petattack

Fear ward special (If the pet is out it will fear ward it, if not. then it's a normal fear ward on your target)
/cast [target=Shadowfiend, exists] Fear Ward; Fear ward

Got self PI and my arena mate for PI (those who needs it)

Also got an emergency button
#showtooltip Desperate Prayer
/cast Desperate Prayer
/use Battlemaster's Ruination
/use Fel healthstone

besides that I'm using Self dispel macro, dispel partymember macros.

Also trying to get used to displ arena frames

/cast [target=arena1] Dispel Magic
/cast [target=arena2] Dispel Magic
/cast [target=arena3] Dispel Magic
etc

Maybe a bit overkill but I can see it being good if you get used to it

basic macros that i use. i also play with auto self cast if that matters

Penance - self heals, but shift modifier for offensive
#showtooltip penance
/cast [noharm][modifier:shift][target=player] Penance;

PI - will cast PI on yourself or on your teamate if you have modifier.
#showtooltip power infusion
/cast [modifier:alt,target=TEAMATE'S NAME][target=YOUR NAME] Power Infusion

Also my 2nd SW:D macro i have - will take your target (if hostile) or target of target if friendly
#showtooltip Shadow Word: Death(Rank 4)
/stopcasting
/cast [harm][target=targettarget,harm] Shadow Word: Death

Personally I use

#showtooltip Power Infusion
/cast [target=player] Power Infusion

#showtooltip Shadow Word: death
/cast [target=mouseover] Shadow Word: Death
/cast [target=focus, exists] Shadow Word: Death; Shadow Word: Death

The last one makes it easier to sw:d a incomming blind while LoS.

#showtooltip
/cast [target=player] Power Word: Shield

and most important for me:

#showtooltip
/cast [target=mouseover] Dispel Magic

edit: Forgot some

#showtooltip
/cast [target=player] Fear Ward

#showtooltip
/cast [target=pet] Fear Ward

I should probably start fear warding my shadowfiend, but can't think of any keybind which would be ergonomic in any way ;<

i find that macro a must for shadow fiend - press once to summon / pet attack. press again to dispel it / shadowcrawl.

Idd Decisive, although I would take another order, since they can still bug a litte.. so I would chose it like this.

/cast Inner Focus
/cast Stoneform
/cast Desperate Prayer
/cast Fel Healthstone

(last one if you're playing with a lock)

/cast [target=focus] Silence
/cast Psychic Horror

I use that when I need to peel and I don't have time to press two keybinds ( even a 0.5 sec less time to perform something is huge in WoTLK playstyle :\ ), effectively stops all damage on my partner for 5 secs if it's melee/caster/healer combo

I posted this in a thread a few months back. SWD something in any circumstance without ever changing your target. I use it for poly.

#showtooltip
#show Shadow Word: Death
/cast [@focus,exists] Shadow Word: Death
/stopmacro [@focus,exists]
/targetenemy [nohelp, noharm]
/cast [harm] Shadow Word: Death
/stopmacro [nohelp]
/targetenemy
/cast Shadow Word: Death
/targetlasttarget

SWD focus if you have a focus always.
SWD target (without dropping your current target) if target is hostile and you have no focus.
SWD nearest enemy (without dropping your current target) if your target is friendly and you have no focus.
SWD nearest enemy and targets them if you have no target and no focus.

Perfect macro for me because all I use /focus for is deathing polymorph. If there is an enemy in SWD range this macro is going to death something guaranteed no matter what your target is. Mage mirror images and casts poly? NP macro tab death'd a water ele or mirror image. Also fine to use as an offensive SWD bind. If you have no focus and target an enemy its just /cast SWD.
