Rogues

* Rupture: The damage-over-time component of this ability can now produce critical strikes.
* Talents

o Subtlety

+ Filthy Tricks: Now Reduces the cooldown by 5/10 seconds and energy cost by 5/10 of Tricks of the Trade, Distract and Shadowstep abilities, and reduces the cooldown of Preparation by 1.5/3 minutes.
+ Ghostly Strike: If the rogue has a dagger equipped, this ability now deals 180% weapon damage instead of 125%.
+ Hemorrhage: If the rogue has a dagger equipped, this ability now deals 160% weapon damage instead of 110%.
+ Slaughter from the Shadows: Now adds 1/2/3/4/5% damage to all attacks in addition to its current effects.
+ Waylay: The debuff from this talent can now be caused by Backstab in addition to Ambush.

Seems interesting.

i don't get why they wouldn't buff it for swords. It's going to be annoying to have to play shs with daggers.

Why would they buff daggers?

Using axes playing 27/44 my damage is ridiculous low, switching to daggers even after the buff isnt going to change shit.

they just made it so hemo isn't affected by weapon choice anymore. correction, dagger hemos will hit harder on average than axe hemos lol

might be fun to mess around with but really the only "buff" here is the 5% more damage from slaughter from the shadows. something else is still needed to give it the edge on mutilate.

So Hemo with all the changes going through will do 175% Weapon damage if you have Daggers equipped. Sounds really amazing but not sure if not having deadly poison alongside wound will be really worth it.

BUT DAMN that looks entertaining to play.

Interesting changes I suppose. I still wanted to see deadly brew accessible for shs builds but I guess that's too much to ask for. Waylay looks interesting but BS is pretty crappy to begin with, I guess some testing is in order.

I'm excited about the changes and I'll probably try it. But, missing deadly brew etc. will hurt. Looks a lot more fun to play than muti/prep though, specially with the Waylay change.

Oh, and 20 second shadowstep <3

Actually if they decide to man up and make the Wayway proc 100% from backstab, you might see yourself using deadly/wound while using backstab to apply a unremovable snare.

Spamming hemo for damage, backstab for snare deffo sounds really plausible, while using double wound or deadly/wound. All depends how Blizzard ends up doing it though.

No magic (aka poison dmg), poison dispell and a positional ability to snare :-/

That is not gonna be that good in arena.
