Unless the rogue or mage class gets deleted disc will always be very strong.

I wouldn't say easier to play, both seem equally easy.

Easier to be successful as, without a doubt.

it's fun to play shadow but my heart will always be with disc <3

Just saying they fill very similar roles, party dispels, 30s-1m Cc's, easy damage rotations, off healing when necessary. Not trying to dumb down the spec I just feel they are similar

Similar roles maybe, but you can't really compare a caster that can be locked out and have his damage dispelled to a ret paladin.
