I agree. I didn't read all of it (missing the NFL FFS!!) but i'll re-read in a bit :P

Finding partners is a pain in the ass though, I spent the last 2 seasons boosting guildmates who are raging PvE nerds =[

That's what I did all last season. Carrying friend's new 90s :/

It is just seems to be impossible if you have no experience before, noone just wants to play with you for obvious reasons. And the sad thing is that PvP here is about iLvL first of all, you get something like 525 when get a full gear for honor from battleground and a few parts for conquest from arena cap, so after that you can enter game once a week to get one more item from arena cap and wait till next wednesday — boring.

^pug your way to the top. then people with want to play with you.. I boosted my monk and played with several people to 1950 cr. ofc people are always hesitant but if you can show the in a game or two what your skills are they will likely play more with you, but i gotta agree that sometimes i look for hours and find noone

1950 with 525 item level? And again, it depends on your previous experience, give a bet you got a good ratings before and game mechanic are habitually for you. I really see the difference between 525 and 535 item level on my ele shammy, it's more damage and health, but with this gearing item per week it is annoying. But all wanna play with 540+ teammates at least and when i try to find an arena team with my 531 warrior, first of all they see my 490k hp and saying something like "oh, you are so squishy, sorry, bye", nuff said. So there are one way to start play arenas is to spent a few months to gear up, that makes me sad.

1. Go to the nearest game-store
2. Buy WOTLK collectors edition
3. Get a stack of Coke
4. Go visit your best friend
5. Hand over the WOTLK
---
6. Crawl over the list of different classes and find out what he likes the most
7. Compare whatever hes/shes like the most to your favorite ones
8. Help him to play, introduce stuff, level together
9. Ding 80
10. Pick up some heroic 5man gear
11. Go have fun together in battlegrounds
12. Use Skype to communicate
13. Farm a decent pvp gear
14. Form an arena team
15. Start learning to play together, don't be frustrated and please don't yell on him/her

Generally it takes some time, but playing arena with your best friend is probably the best comp you can have in the future. Having your best friend addicted to wow is a nice thing :P

= PROFIT =
