If you want shit partners, just take the first couple people that reply in Trade. It's easier and less degrading.

Thanks! I still check up on this so if anyone has suggestions or things they think should be added/removed I'd be more than willing to consider any input.

Sound advice

Really like your section on new goals, as most teams flop after one person obtains their wep.

Thank you very much. I'm going to have to update this guide when Cataclysm comes around since some of the goals won't exactly make sense, but overall the concepts will be the same :)

1. Go to low pop server with a few good players on it.
2. Play a class that is useful in many comps/class combos (see paladin).
3. Find out that there is no other holy paladin worthwhile on server.
4. ???
5. Profit

You don't want to play on a low population server to find good players. Chances are high that the 2-5 people who actually know what they are doing already play with other people and you are pretty much screwed.

Low Pop servers is a bad idea. I spent a greater part of my first arena seasons on Malfurion.... O the pain of finding good partners, It took me till late S7 to finaly find the people I was looking for. Then I ended up xfering to TN, big mistake. At leaste I'm in a top server guild and the people are really into WoW in all aspects, and some aren't half bad at PvP. This guild helps lots with your average server.

Yeah really good!

The thing i found best was the part "knowing your goals." Alot of people just type the "x looking for arena team." Got no idea what they want other than arena. I do think that the people on the forum here got a bit more brain than that though :P

Taking one step without the others makes the plan look like shit. If you know there are 2 people who have an opening why not? You think the AJ recruitment page is only high pop servers?
