How do i run these unit frames without the rest of your addons? cant seem to get it working =/ thanks

You can delete or ## quote everything out of the .toc that you don't want loaded.  You can then also delete the .lua s if you don't want them.  This worked for me, however I was using his first version he linked.  Others have since said they couldn't get them working with the newer updates, I am not sure if that is the case or they just aren't doing the right thing.

Thanks will try,

Any idea on why this is happening btw? Getting an extra bar with my energy, both show the same thing =//

Love the frames, nice work, however the text should be affixed to the appropriate frames and not the UI parent, so when moving frames the text goes with them and doesn't cling in mid-air.  >.>  I just turned text off in the config.lua.

Posted ImageWhat this UI does: http://img696.images...10515060473.png
  • moves Player, Target, Focus, Party frames
  • puts in a clean texture in castbars and HP/MP bars
  • has absolute HP and MP Values on Player, Target and Focus frame
  • red hover on your spells when out of range
  • HP bars are class coloured, except self
  • name background class coloured, except self
  • CombatSword (combat indicator) on both target an focus
  • darker frames, castbars
  • has gryphoons removed
  • hides hotkey and macro text on action bar
  • some improvements on the Minimap, such as mousewheel zoom
How to install and configure:
  • download IboUI.rar -> click
  • then extract my UI in your Interface folder as shown here -> click
  • go into Interface/Addons/IboUI/IboUI.lua and open it with any editor
  • you can enable/disable stuff by typing 1 or 0 after the equals signs:
    local IboMoveFrames = 1
    local IboTextures = 1
    local IboHPMPValues = 1
    local IboRange = 1
    local IboClassColorBars = 1
    local IboClassColorNameBackground = 1
    local IboCombatSword = 1
    local IboDarkFrame = 1
    local IboHideHotkeyText = 1
    local IboHideMacroText = 1
  • my UI works best with UI Scale 0.81
go into your WoW folder -> WTF -> Config.wtf open it
    then insert these lines:
    SET uiScale "0.81"
    SET useUiScale "1"
  • start WoW go to Options -> Interface -> Help -> Display LUA Errors and make sure that this is disabled
Notes:
  • somehow two things get fucked up with this UI, both because of the new ExtraActionButton1 added with 4.3. Will fix this asap.
  • I will update my post as soon as I fix and add more stuff.

Hey ibo, is there any chance you could make your unitframes and the skin on it an actual addon? Or is there any other way to get the frames look like yours because i absolutely love the look of them.
As i just want my unitframes to look exactly like that, i dont want anything else.

This is my UI.

Of course, Gladius + Party Frames should not be there. I Just enabled them to show how they look.

Posted Image

In this second image, i have a cleaner look of the UI.  This top bar with Tree of Life is a bar that i use for important buffs like Pain Supression, Bubble, Ice Block, Tree of LIfe, Evasion, Cloak and so on.   To the ri8ght of the target frame i have some buffs that i like to monitor but don´t need to be on my face all the time like HoTs, Enrages, Earth Shield

Hope you like it

Looks nice for PvE, not sure if I could handle all the black space, especially the chat boxes, for PvP.

Often I find other player's UIs look nice, then I duplicate it and it just doesn't come across as nice or neat once I am playing with it in my face.

Same. The only thing I've been able to run for any amount of time is IboUI, which is a darkened version of the defaults with some scripts.
