a hfb envenom rogue can definitely drop a warrior very low if not kill them in a KS depending on cooldowns


you know that no rogues at all play hfb? and even with, you wont drop a warrior in a KS.

@topic, rogues overall damage is only slightly increased, the ~~6k envenom crits you will take from time to time is just 2-3k more than evisc crits. (to crit anything above 6k envenom you'll need to be below 35% health for dirty deeds).

I haven't run any recount since patch but evisc damage was like ~~10% of overall dmg before patch, so assuming you got 5 stacks of deadly poison all the time the overall dmg increase is something like 5%. naturally the burst can be higher at times, but really, do you think rogues is the class to cry about atm?

I wonder if geming for stun resist meta with full ironwill will help, cuz a extra 1 sec or 2 off disables can really turn the game around.


didnt help much, went back to the crit one. but ya we got done pretty good by feral+rogue, got ps blown on the rogue then switched to the priest with me at 100%, died 3 seconds into the storm with my back turned to the feral!

yap yap, we tanked pretty hard post patch as tsg, probably going to change comp for glad unless the blood cd spam turns out to work

Its not just envenom tho, 5 stacked DP is like 1k per tick and after 5 stack each proc is like another 500 wounding, add those on top of a 6k-7k envenom it becomes 9-10k in a like 3 secs. ofcourse all of these are happening while you are stuned.......

lol that was not a stab at you, that was just a play on the feral/rogue/priest's team name. we lost quite a few to them, too.

ha ya i know i was looking at how they did against other cleave teams to see if we were doing something wrong.. shits rough, but it seems the general strategy for most teams these days is train the war

If this helps, think of facing teams like :rogue::warlock::shaman: as a pressure game. You can't sit there shielded the whole match on D. The more you have your two hander on putting pressure on the lock, the less damage you will be taking. Most warriors make the mistake of buckling and generally spending the whole match on the run trying to save themselves. Make an effort to remove poisons with intervene-> charge, but other than that try to play aggressively to stay alive.

meh

i died with the lock spell locking me instead of the healer because he uses 0 focus macro's.

so he can only spell lock his target, kinda funny to play against him, since you can free heal whe nhe's not targeting you.

I would be comfortable with them removing the damage on bladestorm and in return make the cooldown much shorter and make it an anti-cc ability.

It is funny though, while bladestorm is powerful from its damage, I think its biggest capability is a momentum swinger by forcing the other team to play defensive. The teams you notice that do well handle bladestorm by simply staying offensive and staggering cooldowns to be able to deal with bladestorm in the most efficient manner (ie first bladestorm ps, second bladestorm battlemasters+desperate prayer, third ps)
