having the same problem with affliction rls, ride me all game, my pally will go the whole game w/o getting cs'd, we wont let him get hexed or feared more than once (if at all) but eventually he cant keep me up thru evenom/afflic. i switched to wearing 1045 resil and we still were behind all game (havent worn above 790 in 3s all season) my pally and i try to stagger d cds but if we dont kill the lock in the initial storm+strang were fucked. is there anything else i can do?

The Problem is that you're not even able to use bladestorm because you die instantly when you do it.

Imo it's the most effective way to deal with rogue-teams that zerg the warrior to sword&board the whole game. Even if you think you got away from the rogue and you try to go offensive you will be in a stunlock 5 seconds later and taking really high pressure.
A defensive Warrior can't really be killed that easily at least.
Then just keep MS up on a target, spam revenge + debuffs (TC, Demo, PH), try to annoy the enemy caster/healer with interrupts/charge and let your partner do the rest.

Stay sword n board most of the time, put lock as your focus target, focuscharge / intercept his nasty damage (UA if you have dispeller, chaos bolts etc.) or spell reflect it. Try to save your trinket for the moment, you're 100% SURE you'll die in the kidney or whatever if you don't trinket.

Basically you need a good overview of what's happening, reflect the nasty stuff, charge what you can't get or intervene etc.
When you feel like you've outlasted their initial burst or w/e and are in control, go offensive - but carefully. Keep an eye on the rogue if he's not on you, if he looks like he's running to vanish open on you or something - sword n board.

So glad my team decided not to play after this patch... Sounds like those affliction locks and envenom rogues are nasty.

Didn't mages get some kind of sidegrade this patch, too?

yea i think frozen core now makes their icelance crits reduce cast time of frostbolt by some amt of time like 1 sec or something

hfb envenom rogues were pretty shitty even before this patch so i cant even imagine them now

Why did none menton feral druid + rogue + dpriest doing nothing but tunneling ur warrior untill both healers are oom and ur warrior is dead???

prob b/c there's like only one of those teams in my bg (but they did give us some bad beatings)

what we did was just get ps blown on rogue/dru then switch to priest, ms, let DK kill w/ garg

Except a warrior does not die to a solo rogue during a KS, while a priest dies to a solo warrior during a BS :/

a hfb envenom rogue can definitely drop a warrior very low if not kill them in a KS depending on cooldowns

I wonder if geming for stun resist meta with full ironwill will help, cuz a extra 1 sec or 2 off disables can really turn the game around.
