I thought the event started at 6pm as per this info:
http://www.esl-world...ason4/edmonton/
But clearly I must have screwed up the time zones.

I am at work right now, but if some team needs me I will leave early and head on down there.

If it is indeed season 5 format, warriors will be useless anyways.

Its only S5 gear and although S5 gear doesn't really favour Warriors that well, Blizzcon and EU Blizzard Regionals were both won by Warrior comps (TSG and WLD), although it'll be impossible to have that level of teamwork with a random people, still shows that its possible to do okay in it.

"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear."

this game would be far better if either;

A. Casters could cast while moving or
B. Melee couldnt hit while moving

Wait.. season 5 gear.. or season 5 "everything"?
If it is season 5 specs, there is no way a fury warrior is doing well :P

The tournaments usually use Season 5/Tier 7.5 gear with the current live patch.

I'd assume this tournament is Season 5 gear + patch 3.3 but I'm not 100% certain since this patch is so recent.

Everything that you were able to get in S5 you are able to use. As far as I know all the items that dropped off KT you can't use

For sure. WIthout playing with ANYONE before, I certainly wouldn't expect to fill in and win the whole thing. But if its the difference for some team to play and get their participation 350, or not play and get screwed, I would certainly fill in as a capable warm body who gives them a chance.

It will be patch 3.3, Blizzard don't give the support to organizations running tournaments to run them on different patches.

It's extremely retarded that this tournament will be played on 3.3 considering people have had less than a week's practice on it, but they did that with the last week of the TR as well, so it doesnt really surprise me.

I think you would have to go down there now to actually play though, don't know what time it is right now for you, but the games should be starting anytime now according to the OPs post about the times (bearing in mind the tournament was delayed cause of someone from EG's landing was delayed).

Yeah, I wish there was a way to get a hold of the guys at the tournament right now. If players are needed, I will head over there right away. Otherwise, im not going to leave in the middle of work to be a spectator when I can simply stream it :P

Well, persoanlly I'd of gone either way.

I know WoW tournaments aren't exactly the highlight of the year, but without knowing much about Edmonton, I don't think many of these type of tournaments come there, so it would be nice to experience something new, but thats just me I guess. Nothing like this happens where I live.

I imagine they have it covered, I didn't hear anything from Shawn concerning locating more U.S. or CA based teams to participate.

Not sure who shawn is, but if you talk to him, find out if they do indeed need players down there. Probably not too many (any?) other high level players in edmonton that could fill in if necessary.

I was thinking more along the lines of me / trivvium(profiction) playing your character to glad before we xferred off in S6 to get Furious glad with Rgostic and your friend taking back the rogue that I was playing to help you get glad.

but probably that to
