Is there an option to remove the border and thin the bar down ? If so I'll probably use it.

There is no option for it but you can simply change the

texture = texture.."CP_HealthBarOverlay",
elitetexture = texture.."CP_HealthBarEliteOverlay",
to texture.."Empty",

This will remove the border texture.

If you'd like you can PM me and I'll send you the .lua files.

I'm trying them out.  They are nice.  I did notice that a totem of wrath nameplate showed up in battlegrounds when I had icons and nameplates turned off for totems.

Thoughts on improvement:

- Option for class pets?
- Option on a per-totem basis?

Not sure if possible.

Would be great if you can tell me where to edit the size of the nameplates.
Player plates are a bit too big for me.
But nice work done there!

I installed this other addon with it called virtualplates, which controls dynamic resizing and stuff.  You can get a link to it off the main tidyplates, or whatever, addon page.

I may add specific totem options eventually. Possibly a "glowy" option for more important totems such as fire nova, earthbind, grounding, etc.

Class pets are not possible simply because there's no way to give a return value for if a mob is a player's pet versus "NPC". I can however have a return for "beast", "undead", and "demon".I may use this eventually with more testing. Those would obviously have an effect on pve situations aside from arena so I'll have to implement a zoning detection.

Sounds good.  Only thing I can add, as far as the per-totem option, if you do implement it, you'd probably want it to be comprehensive, because different classes, running different comps, will have different totem priorities.

Thank you for taking the time to create this :D

edit: I've tested it out and I'm getting some kind of bug.. I guess it's possible other addons are messing with it
second edit: Tested with no other addons loaded, and it seems to not be causing any problem. Great work!
triple edit(cause I'm that cool lol): It was the option ''show at nameplate'' in SCT DMG that was causing the problem in the image displayed bellow.

also.. for those who want to remove the black border around the hp and casting frames, modify this in the normal.lua (open with notebook)

Quote

config.healthborder = {
texture = texture.."Empty",
glowtexture = texture.."CP_HealthBarHighlight",
elitetexture = texture.."Empty",
width = 256,
height = 64,
x = 0,
y = 5,
anchor = "CENTER",
}
config.castborder = {
texture = texture.."Empty",
width = 256,
height = 64,
x = 0,
y = -10,
anchor = "CENTER",

and then just /console reloadui

Ty for the reply. I don't believe there's a way to correct that without changing a chunk of coding for either SCT or Tidy Plates. But I'll let the author know of this problem.

@ Liolin

Each totem will have the option to be "off" "glowy" or "normal" most likely if I do implement this. It'll be completely custom to how you'd want.

If anyone is actively using these nameplates could you give me some feedback as to what you'd like to see implemented or changed?

I rly like this addon, gj! Some things could be improved though, like making it show castbars even for enemy players not targeted. Atm it's only the targeted enemy players castbar that is shown below the nameplate. I'm using overhead atm but would prob start use this addon if u could made that work. As mentioned in previous posts also: pet nameplates should be able to uncheck and the mirror images(stated in the addon "doesn't work" atm) as well. Except for those things its perfect :)

Since this addon is merely a "revamp", if you will, of the games default UI nameplates, it's currently impossible to give multiple target cast bars, at least with a tidy plates theme. The way that Overhead works is it goes by arena player unit id's and creates a cast bar on their "recreated" nameplates, which can't be done with a theme for tidy plates. Tidy Plates simply changes the textures and placement of the default nameplates, and allows custom scripting.

I could talk to the author of tidy plates to see if he could implement this somehow in the future.

Am I the only one getting a Dependency Missing error in the addon list for this?  I just redownloaded it as well at the link provided on the first post.  :confused:
