Recent awesome hand: 1/2 home game, guy who's been playing poker for about 30 years and plays for a substantial part of his income puts a straddle on. Daughter of the host, about 21 years old, raises to 20 utg. Folds around, straddle guy calls blind. Flop is 552, two spades. Girl bets 75, guy raises to 275, says something snarky like "you're gonna have to earn this one, sweetie." She thinks, calls him, turn is a king, and I have a funny feeling I know what just happened, and I was right. Both get all in on the turn, and they're both deep stacked, probably a pot of 900 bucks. He turns over 5-10 offsuit, she turns over pocket kings, table goes nuts, river bricks and the girl cripples the semi-pro three times her age with a two outer after he talked trash.
Worst beat taken: Kc-Ks in pocket, flop Ad-Kh-Kd. Get put all in on the flop by 4d-5d. Comes 2d turn, 3d river, running straight flush breaks my flopped quads. Pokerpages uninstalled shortly thereafter :)
