Anyways chains on DR could be a nice and interesting change that raises the skill cap in a good way. As long as it's tempered by buffs in other areas.

It will be nice to finally be done with the qq about chains at least.


Your quote takes my post completely out of context and makes it look like I was referring to people playing the DK class.

If you're upset about me calling all the idiots "wheel chair downers nerds" that are NOT death knights on our forums laughing about CoI nerf and saying screw death knights then I don't really care about your opinion of my opinion about them.

Funny thing is, you bash a guy that doesn't play a DK about not adding anything positive to the CoI discussion right above my post. Then you go and complain that I'm calling him a idiot. Maybe I'm just really stupid or some shit, because I really don't understand you.

There will be absolutely no reason to take a DK in any bracket over say.. a feral druid if this change goes live. Not to mention warriors are now doing DK equivalent damage with MS due to out of control armor pen stacking and will have superior mobility and training capability. Completely unexpected (was expecting buffs, not core mechanic nerfs). Doubt it'll go live.

It may also screw over re-applying frost fever with endless winter after the target is immune.

Chains does not apply FF after 3 hits for the next 15. 3's and 5's will be a cluster.

I do like how they gave us 8 more seconds on desecration like that would offset this.

They'd better increase radius of desecration to match hunter's trap.

This does seem like an odd change, I wouldn't say the increased duration of desecration is worthless though, I mean yeah they can run away from it but there might be other reasons keeping them in the general vicinity of where you've spawned some crap on the ground, such as having to line of sight to heal someone or avoid its by hugging a pillar. It'll be pretty good to have our version of the frost trap up for a longer duration at least.

Not saying it will be enough but hey :) least it's something.

oh iddd. dk representation is too high now. im gonna quit this game if that goes live. with that change every non-cleave dk combo is fucked up. BUT YEAH lets play some faceroll cleave.

dk is fine in 3s and 5s now, you can't faceroll anymore. but that seems not enough for blizzard

CoI was never undispellable, but this could be a move toward making it so. It would make sense to have a non-dispellable Dr'd CoI (albeit extremely annoying) as chains can be overpowered against certain comps lacking dispels while underwhelming versus comps with them.

GCD trading in unholy presence for as long as you have frost runes seems worthwhile considering you'll be gaining RP and they'll be losing mana :P
