Damn, dont you love the smell of "other classes coming here flaming about a bug getting fixed after 5 years, and so rogues should get nerfed too coz vanish will work now" in the morning? :)

Compensation? IMO proper compensation for fixing vanish means
-Remove Deadly Brew
-Crippling 50%
-DR shared on stuns, gouge, sap, blind
-Damage cap on stuns (30-40% max target health).
-Move prep deeper into sub
-Increase stealth detection of all players

Was just about to post that wow forums post, brilliant stuff. Why is it, that no matter how bad/balanced/good/overpowered rogues are in a patch, half the downies ingame scream for rogue nerfs? I even remember people calling rogues overpowered at the start of TBC when the rogue class was beyond horrible.

And lmao damage cap on stuns, DR shared on stuns and gouge, even sapp. Brilliant.

On topic i still remember the patch that broke vanish, fucking ages ago, was the patch AB came out in iirc. Having a working vanish again, im not quite sure how to handle this, holding back the tears of joy.

I've actually seen rogues getting "Immune" when they vanish and I try to swing at them the same time, I dont know if anyone noticed this? I havent been able to pull them out of vanish lately :-(

Ghostcrawler is a complete retard and needs to stick to his marine biology. So according to his logic now - rogues that land a successful vanish sometimes are balanced, but rogues that will be able to land a vanish all the will be imbalanced? Because making your survivability cooldown not be broken from icelances and autoshots from 30 yards away is such a HUGE fkn buff. I am sensing another nerf with no compensation.

if vanish works 100% of the time, it will be imbalanced, rogues are doing fine in arena now with a vanish that works less than 10% of the time, how do you guys not see this?

But off the top of my head... Fear Warding fears, deathing sheeps, locking a warlock out of a fel dom, uhum... shadowstepping charges, god knows there's plenty... :rolleyes:

So fixing a signature rogue survivability cooldown to work as intended 100% of the time instead of 30% is imbalanced? Typical retarded enhancement shaman. Maybe they should make your wolves randomly not work and then nerf you when they fix the bug a couple of years later.

think the reason they have delayed fixing it, is because the ability is extremely overpowered. they just didn't make it a priority until now, because bad rogues can't get very high ratings atm.

anyone but rogues themselves would agree.
