Before someone replies with BEASTCLEAVE OLOLOLOL, what are currently the best specs for a mm/sv hunter?

I saw some afflock/sv/healer teams with high ratings, but no fotm setup yet :|

I've played ret hunter priest in the last season, and it's pretty boring tbh..

I have a druid I can play with but cannot get a lock for aff sv resto :/

Hunters are like PoM Pyro mages --- except for them PoM is on a 10 second cooldown.

I run pali/hunter/enh but I run it as survival. Played this comp to 2687 for glad last season.
Just curious, because I run as survival instead of BM would most people consider this to be beast cleave or no? I'm inclined to think no because I almost ALWAYS scatter>freeze a healer rather than spam drop frost traps. Pretty much our success revolves around hardcore cc rather than big red durrr pet damage where something dies after a heal gets shocked.

its not beast cleave because your pet sits at your side and when it doesnt it hits things for 100 dmg, the name is called beast cleave becuase the pets do all the work

I'm fckin tired of playing for 4 hours and queueing into 10 variations of wizard cleave all the time. Started playing mm ret dru to shit on melee cleaves (which are kinda extinct now) and losing to dumb rng critstreak is pretty shitty...

I play hunter/dk/druid and decided to spec MM and use a ravager only cos of wizardcleave/rmp's.

We don't really have problems vs RMP's as survival (I just need to dodge CC's and when we get to nuke the mage a little he's forced to block fast, also kill his pets asap), but I can only imagine how much easier it will be as MM with a pet stun on 40 sec c/d (basically a pre nerf gnaw).

I never had problems against RMP as a hunter, problem is playing against random variations of eleshaman/frostmage/destrolock with a healer

MM+Ravager should be very helpful there too.

I play MM all the time so that's not the issue, but ravager can be pretty helpful decision, now that cunning pets have better survivability.
Although our problem is in our ret, not my spec :| lf new ret
