5v5 Deep Demonology (0/51/20) by Pyrilus

It has everything you want in terms of max demo survivability and consistent nuking power. This is, as of right now, what I would consider for a 5s spec if I want to go Demo.

It's hard to say whether or not I'd actually use a Felguard in 5s, though, because a Felhunter might offer more in terms of control in the end. The build has everything I've ever wanted in an SL/Ruin spec. It's 5/35/21 with more equivalent survivability, more crit, more everything. I just put 1 point in Felguard just in case I change my mind.

If you want, you can take out a point from Demonic Tactics and put it into Demonic Resilience. Also, you can take out a point from Demonic Brutality and put it into Master Conjuror.

What would you suggest for a primary nuke? I imagine it's either Searing Pain or Incinerate to take advantage of molten core procs.

Ok no need or destructive reach or mana feed or imp healing funnel, get 2 in improved searing pain all in demonic brutality and demonic resil. no need to explain why. if u r a good lock with a good crit%(the correct glyphs) and spower u should have a 4.4k dps for the 15sec of immolation arua during metamorph with ur fg out. have your healr be smart and tongue the oppo healr while fear it before u go metamorph and dc it while ur target is below 30% hp and start shadowburning....
its simple, with a healr in a 2v2 (this is not a 5v5 spec, there r no 5s these days...) locks should be op, stop being dumb. no affliction either

its quite simple, u r truely using 8 spells, searing pain u will focus and nuke at one pt....(during immolation aura, especially after u charge and fight a melee),
once i got barely geared i realized that locks destroy melee in arena all u need is the gear. oh yea and a brain

shadowbolt is stupid to use as a nuke, and incerate is too long a cast, even with ember.... 1.5sec base cast is the fastest thing we got to nuke with and with the glyphs and talents it should be obvious that its a nuking god spell

also understand u really need to have 20k+hp, resilience in my oppinion is broken so dont go for any extra, and a good healr. i like my pally, even though druid would be best, because being bop and then metamorph is so op and makes me hard to kill against melee

Ok I've looked at all three specs and right now I'm using a destruction spec different from this one for 2s paired with an unholy dk. Any idea which would really be best for us? We're not exactly over the top skilled but we're ok.

WTF for real? please revise this "5v5 Deep Demonology (0/51/20)" remove all points from improved health funnel and demonic brutality and put them in improved demonic tactics. i mean honestly FFS those 3 points are a good chunk of dps ur not getting out of your felguard come on.

@Murkey, Improved Health funnel & Demonic brutality are better then Improved Demonic tactics. You wont notice the crit increase in your pet, also resil will just act like you never got the talent. Keeping your pet alive is a very good thing, hense why improved health funnel. Also 1% more ap bonus from your felguards demonic frenzy is not bad either per application
