5v5 Deep Demonology (0/51/20)
It has everything you want in terms of max demo survivability and consistent nuking power. This is, as of right now, what I would consider for a 5s spec if I want to go Demo.
It's hard to say whether or not I'd actually use a Felguard in 5s, though, because a Felhunter might offer more in terms of control in the end. The build has everything I've ever wanted in an SL/Ruin spec. It's 5/35/21 with more equivalent survivability, more crit, more everything. I just put 1 point in Felguard just in case I change my mind.
Affliction (54/17/0)
4/5 in Shadow Embrace only because I really don't know what else to take a point out of.
Dark Pact is useful situationally and I need at least one into Improved Felhound for it to work.
Destruction (0/17/54)
This build is what you'll want for the most part for Destruction. This spec can play with in a 2 dps 2s, and can be general purpose for 3s and 5s because of its versatility.
The main highlights are Backdraft, Backlash, Pyroclasm, Nether Protection, and Shadowfury.
These talents together provide great synergy, on top of having the basic defenses from Demonology. Fire and Brimstone was skipped here because in reality, you can't really control when you use Conflag and it'll probably be as quickly as possible. The spec has many benefits: the casted damage is primarily fire-based, so if you get locked out you can go straight to Fearing, you get a 3 second stun on a 20 second cooldown which is really quite helpful if you combine SF with HoT (and maybe even pick up the glyph for it). You have really great defenses against magic damage with Nether Protection and Backlash helps you with burst when you're focused.
If a melee is on you, you have lots of options as well. Shadowflame can be used as a replacement for Immolate if you need to get a Conflag off. With the Conflag, you have a chance to stun your enemy and increase your nuke casting speed on top of it. It really has a lot going for it and it arguably has the highest skill cap because of all of the options available to you.
