General Information
I ran this setup to Rank 4 in Season 1 and i held it for a couple of months, and now here in Season 3 I am back at it again.
First, some things you should know about this setup:
Overall the good thing about this team is that you have solid powerful heals and a usually free Warrior to do whatever he wants. If you can keep your Warrior alive and free from most CC's that come, victory is yours. Although I should warn you guys, this is just a general guide and some of the strategies I use here are not always used during the game because sometimes circumstances arise that can't be outlined here.

Builds
Paladin
Should be 41/20 typical Holy spec, that's a given for Improved Concentration Aura and Stoicism.
Playing a Paladin these days isn't what it was back in the day, we have to deal with a nerfed Freedom and a Blessing of Sacrifice which makes playing a Paladin a lot more technical than it used to be. You need to time your Sacrifice and your Freedoms accordingly or you will lose. If you do lose question yourself as to why you lost.

Warrior
Can be any spec really as long as it involves the Mortal Strike debuff,but i prefer a Tactical Mastery build.
Honestly, I don't know much about Warriors other than, they get healed and they kill, so that's a basic given. Playing defensive is KEY in this setup because a Paladin is so viable to so many different forms of CC, so keep that in mind when you play. It's not always about the kill, sometimes its about defensive play and survival.

Notes on The Matchups:
Difficulty Meter- 1- Easy fight, no real brain power Required
- 5- Even fight, skill over comp
- 10- Good luck, hope for RNG and overall better playing

| i play warri/pala on 2506 and i give shaman/warri a 8/10 when the teams play on 2500+ how 2 teams in our rp. so far the strats are o.k.^^ | |

| I just ran this up to 2K last night... by far the hardest teams for us were Druid/Warlock, Priest/Warlock, Mage/Mage and Mage/Priest (yes, there are a few of these weird teams around using PoM Pyro specs). | |

| to be honest ive won against that setup 90% of the time. we just focus on priest like he said, the rogue cant kill the pally with the war helping now and then. if the rogue goes on war, thats a ton of rage to unleash on priest....so either way its a win | |

| I said a shadow priest/lock combo not a priest/rogue we beat those all the time. Its just the shadow priest/lock have so much CC it makes it really hard for me to heal and then our warrior is dead. Some advice would be nice please :) | |

| to beat lock/shammy you need an incredible amount of pressure on the lock and play really defensively, your pally must be juking shocks and you cannot let him get feared. reflect lightning bolts and run the shaman oom. kill felhunter pets immdediately. pretty easy as long as you avoid getting bursted down | |

| @Blackz FoL spam whenever possible for efficiency, HL when someone is taking too much damage for FoL to keep up. On Vent, some of the main things me and my warrior are calling out are when one of us is CCed, when I'm silenced, when an enemy is low on HP and I need to be offensive, or when I need to drink and need my partner to keep them hamstringed. | |

| Awesome guide, can you mayber update this to include one of the most annoying combos for my paladin however, that being mm/survival hunter/ dis priest. Normally we pillar kite the pet behind a pillar and zerg it down . It's always a scorpid vs. this team. What happens next is i hug the hunter , but this allows the priest to mana burn the crap out of my paladin. The reason i dont go to the priest however after the pet is dead is becuz i dont want the huntard resummoning another scorpid. Should i just go to the priest after his pet is dead and have my pal watch the hunter and interrupt if he tries to resummon pet (and they always do)? | |

| LOL me and my paladin faced a Bear druid/Resto druid team today... 26 minutes later,(yes i said 26 minutes) We prevailed. Basically, Im wondering if i could have made it shorter and less painless. what we did was basically try to kite the bear around a pillar and hope to burst it down before the resto could get to it. took a while but we got it =D any suggestions on how to make it quicker? | |

| Well, first of all you should have been going for the resto druid since they are much easyier than a bear druid. My team would have just gone straight for the resto druid and just stick to him until he pops NS then burst him down. HoJ him when he is in normal form and hope for some lucky crits. | |

| We do not really have problems with the common setups listed here, most of the tactics work out. We don't have problems with most of the setups not listed here, but... last night, we lost 35 points to frostmage/frostmage, and i wonder if anyone else ever faced this setup and can help us out. We played really defensive, spell reflect shatter combos / sheeps, rubbing the pillars, trying to work them down, but in the end, my warrior always died in a cs / sheep combo on me (mages around ~50% each). BoF/BoSac always get spellstolen immediately, and I simply cannot last the whole game without taking any interrupts - of which every single one bears the immediate danger of my warrior being bursted down meanwhile. It's not a really common setup, but I don't want to face them again with the same tactic, which just doesn't seem to work out. | |

| ps@callia: ret/rogue is pretty easy imho. They won't focus your warrior (too low burst, not enough cc), they'll just try to hunt you down - which is not really a problem with bof, disarm and pillar kiting. Just keep on wearing them down. | |

| Solid Guide. Most of the advised Strats are right. But i would rate Shadow/rogue 7/10. Every good team i faced don't went just on of us. If they just focus Me or my Ally they'll lose for sure, but if the Shadow kills the Warri while the Rogue controls/Dps the Paladin you'll have a hard time against that team and its clearly more than 3/10. Well Playing Shaman/Warriors are harden than 4/10. | |

| I find that 2 dps is generally easy unless its just burst teams like bm hunter warlock or bm hunter mage, or spriest warlock, heh. | |

| How would you beat Priest/MM hunter? I seem to get drained down rather fast and the priest is constantly dispelling my seals of wisdom/judgements while I'm slowly being DPS-ed down. I read the Priest/Hunter side of the story, they rate us 2/10 - Why am I not surprised :P | |

| went up against a priest/MM hunter in blades edge arena...bursted down the pet and eventully the priest went oom and finished him off...but then we got the same team except in ruins of lordareon...we bursted down the pet again but i was unable to los the viper stings for too long...so for RoL should we try both of us bursting down the priest or just stick the war on their hunter? | |

| that is right Flattie, mage/priest farmed us from 2020 back to 1900. i rarely saw them last season but now there are quite a few and doing very well. we tried going for priest and actually oom him but couldnt kill him when mage is spaming rank 1 icelance and spell steal every freedom. other game, we went for mage and i got cc while priest runnnig towards my paly for fear/burn spam. then my paly tried to los the priest. the thing is, as soon as my paly is los, the priest starts to dps me too. then we try to play defensive and los mage, but the thing is, its not possible. u either get mage nova or priest jump in aoe fear. not sure how to beat this combo yet but i think i might try to stay on mage while keeping hamstring on priest. so, kinda back and forth and hopefully wear them down. | |

| With the massive increase in stats that some classes received on s4 armor and weapons, i have seen a number of teams you would not have seen last season be extremely successful, and most are near 100% counters to our Pally Warrior team. Being alliance, we don't get silence from the pally to help out. Anyone have any suggestions for warlock pally and mage rogue other than what the guide says? We have been getting to 2000 rating then being farmed for 120+ rating by mage rogue and warlock + any healer. I welcome any input. Also, it has been my experience that attempting to play defensively in our battlegroup gets you a loss. We have never won a game that i had to put a shield on before someone on their team was dead. | |

| Dwnldedskill for mage rogue if they go for the war...what my war does is just equip a shield and spell reflect mage+ overpower rogue while i juke heals to avoid a cs and eventually the rogue will die...so on that particular match ur going to have to play defensive imo... and for lock+any healer... the strat i use is for the war to start on the pet...i hoj the healer and pop exorcism+ holy shock on the pet and run over to melee the lock to slow up a non-fel dom re-summon...once he fel-dom's a pet... switch to the healer if its a void (unless your playing palyy lock,,,in which case u will switch to the pet when its at 50%) or do the same thing with the next felhunter once the pallys hoj is up...then its just outlasting until the healer is oom | |

| hamstring spam hunter, pet and priest, then all out on priest. have ur paly shock priest's shield. compare to druid/war, hunter/priest is a bit easier. | |

| We only had trouble against one druid/war team. Then again this is in the 1600 bracket. We'll try this again tonight. JUst seems like i get OOM so fast by viper sting and occasional mana burn when i am forced to come out to heal the warrior. | |
