Warlock/Warrior

VS.

Paladin(or Shaman)/Warrior

I bundled these together because the strategy is fundamentally the same; CC the healer, kill the Warrior while pressuring both. This differs from Druid/Warrior because your Warrior will be on their Warrior for most of the time, whereas against Druid/Warrior you more or less split DPS.

Deny their Warrior the Charge at all costs. Against both combo's, your Warlock will want to pillar kite the Warrior (get DoTs up, get your Warrior to Intercept theirs and then run around a pillar with name plates up while your DoTs tick)

The instant their Warrior switches to your Warrior, your Warlock should reapply pressure (DoTting both Healer and Warrior). Spell Lock all incoming heals and keep Tongues up on the healer as best you can. When their Warrior gets low, whoever he is on must drag him away from his healer.

If he's on the Warlock, the Warrior should come with him and DPS then intercept an incoming Heal, Pummel the next, followed by a Spell Lock if possible. Often the Warrior dies before the Pummel. The Warlock should also catch the healer in a Fear if the healer is healing and the Warrior is on the Warlock. The healer should be in LOS of the Warlock.

If the Warrior retreats, bandage up. Your Warrior especially will need to abuse every opportunity to Bandage against Warrior/Healer teams, and its really not that hard for him to do. Well played teams are a challenge, but by no means unbeatable.

Note: Against both Shaman and Paladin variants of this team, it is possible to coordinate a switch to the healer if he is low from DoTs and spam healing the Warrior- I wanna say 30% of our games are won by switching to the healer when he's not expecting it, as its already a full time job for him to keep the Warrior up, so keep your eye open for an opportunity and then grab at it.

when we face this team my warlock always tells me to get the shaman regardless is that the best idea? Or go on the warrior and cc the shaman easier? we win this team most of the time but sometimes its a toss up

what we usualy do is at first u full dot/cot the healer while the warrior pwns it. their warrior will go on you lock so you run LOS and dot the warrior up as you run LOS. assuming = gear the lock will be able to kill the warrior first so if he doesnt run out of LOS he will die and its GG. now if he does run out to heal thats when your warrior pummels and or you spell-lock and its GG.
