| 2600 shaman/dk best and only way to win this is quick switch. and HARD. try to catch the druid with 0 hots on him (or just maybe a rejuv) hex the dk grip the druid (lust if you can) SPAM purge assist with frostshock and earthbind totem and strangulate. make SURE your dk has gathered all his runes/deathrunes up and full runic power. dont make a switch and have to wait on runes/power. also make sure you have grounding totem OFF cooldown as when you jump the druid and the dk trinkets/gets out of hex you can grounding his deathgrip. i find this is the only way to win vs dk/druid that have half a brain or basically above 2400. another tactic is do this twice back to back. the first time DONT blow lust or strangulate, as hex has a 45 second CD and barkskin only has a 1 minut CD, the first time you do this the druid will pop barkskin 90% of the time.so wait 45 seconds hex again and on the second try he wont have barksin and makes the kill WAYYYYY easyer. GL this match is hard as shit vs a decent dk/druid. | |

| I agree with Budderism. Pretty much the only way to win. | |

| Yes, swapping is always a solid strategy against druids, but what you described is so specific and simply impossible to pull off in most games. In fact, the DK can very well gib you if you play too offensively like that, or simply strangulate you defensively. ORRRR if they're REALLY lame, they can just pop AMZ and lol at you. There's always the offchance that they will simply oom you by spamming chains and playing very defensively. Keep in mind if you don't kill one of them after the swap, it's basically GG because you have no mana left. PS: Hex is worthless, I don't even think about using it if they're in los of each other. The only way to make hex stick on the DK is to make sure his trinket, strangulate, ams, and pet stun are down while he's out of los of his partner AND THEN you have to chains of ice him. | |

| Nah he is right about using hex at that time. We also find it better if we can split the map before the switch and hex the DK out of LOS of the druid usually he will just trinket rather than running back and having it decursed. If you hex him when you do a switch and unload on the druid he will either have to trinket (which optimally he won't have up) or the druid will have to waste a gcd to get him out of it or simply not get him out of it at all. And it should hit the DK during the strangulate anyways so you have a couple seconds either way. This will let you put a lot more damage into the druid as you won't have to worry about interrupts/healing yourself. Not that it's easy at all but it does help a bit. | |

| Here's the thing though: Hex is 20 yard range. Decurse is 40 yard range. Hex is 45 sec. cooldown. Decurse has no cooldown. For the druid, it is better in every way to decurse, unless he is a retard. | |

| even so. its worth him wasting the GCD to dispell if anything. and it buys you maybe 2 seconds to make the swtich and heal/purge lol who cares about "not having mana left" becuase this is pretty much the only way to win if there not retarded. your going to loose the mana battle hard anyway | |

| and yes lazerzz is correct trying to distance them and split is what you want. or just los them i.e. simply being on opposite sides of the tomb on lordearon | |

| You're correct rice. But that GCD lost to him is going to be better for you than anything else you would have spent YOUR gcd on. And if you really time it correctly you switch, drop him and when hex is about to go off land a strang on the druid. That way you get a lot more time off the hex and a GCD from the druid. | |

| im play feral druid rshaman atm on my sham and it seems i hex the dk at the same time the druid pops beserk, equivalent to gargoyle in some way + heroism, and most druids cannot dispel the hex and keepthemselves alive. Thats how i use hex, and also druids r often cocky or their dk is stupid and thinks they can kill me, which they never do alone u have to kill the druid quite obviously, and i hex while the druid is los and far from the dk. Always kill unholy dk pets and i will never die 1v1 with a dk if thats how the team makes it out to b. hope that helps a little? hehe roots/cyclone rotation is rofl w/o dispels sry dks on that one maybe i just have it too easy :P... | |
