| you would be doing 0 dmg to the rogue since priest would be dispelling.. yes he will oom from dispells but rogues can nuke with a lucky blind/MC on ur shaman. My suggestion is to keep auto devour up at all time and pet on priest, hexs & fear off on the rogue, when you get the rogue far enough fear the priest so rogue has to run back w/ nightmare/CoEx on him and drain priest through full fear durations, just keep UA + dots + mana drains up.. If you decide to target rogue, keep auto devour w/ pet on the rogue, while using CoEx on priest so he can't fear since tremors are gimp. Have shaman help slow down whichever target you're CCing.. Once CoS is down you have 1 minute to win. | |

| Damn i would love if priest dispelled on my battlegroup while UA on the target! :) Definatly not doing 0 damage. Not that hard to get UA + Fear on the rogue and other dots after that. Priest goes oom from healing and their team dies Quite easy face off for warlock shaman | |

| Right, im playing warlock/shaman now, currently at 2270 in blackout battlegroup. So this seems to be the ONLY and i mean only comp that we hardly see the sun, everything else is doable but vs priest rogue we have to pray that either of them is a shit player, basically the rogue just Sits on my warlock(707 resi) wile the priest pillarkites and keeps the rogue alive, and obviously tries to fear me when warlock is sitting at 30% hp. Clensing the poison vs mutilate rogue and trying to outheal that horrible dmg (pvegearonrogue much?) drains my mana WAY faster then the preist's, if you want to give some pointers vs this setup tell how your warlock manages to keep the rogue off him. Wether its fakecasting fear, coEx allways, when to teleport, When to deathcoil. and even if you bother to dot up the priest aswell? POM>dots when priest is going out of mana <.<, i played a warlock to gladiator in s2 and s3 so i know 'good' rogues can pretty much make you f*cking useless when i dont have a cycloen/charge and root machine helping me, but the only thing a shaman can (me in this case) is a 9second hex every 45 seconds, earthbind wich most of the times does fuckall and a dispellable frost shock. Please give better pointers than (just cc rogue and win) vs good players its even hard to get a proper fear off, keep in mind rogues mindnumbing poison aswell; ta. | |

| My mana runs out WAY faster than the priests when a rogue is on my warlock... the damage the rogue does on the warlock is just too insane for my mana to keep up with... any pointers on how to get the rogue off etc?... | |

| i play priest rogue on my rogue alt as an undead rogue, this is prety much a faceroll comp, sap shaman, nuke pet(with priest dps its down before the shaman has a chance to ns) new pet= fear+blind shaman..kill pet again once second pet is dead, i simply sit on the lock all day, i keep sprint and cloak handy for when he tries to circle+summon at the top of the map(only difficult on blades edge) otherwise, no pets+undead rogue on lock= dead lock | |

| to add to my previous post, a non-undead rogue team may be able to be beaten, if your shaman isnt stupid, 90 percent of the time when i am killing pet, the lock likes to throw dots instead of fearing, getting me to trink early can cause a problem later, i dont know yet because this team isnt a problem | |

| Shaman gets sapped: Should not happen due to hellfire tactic Shaman gets feared: Should not happen since pet can dispell it Killing the pet that easyly: Should not happen due improved healthfunnel the warlock should have more than enugh healing to slow down killing the pet soon as shaman can heal it. Personally i cant even remember when was the last time we lost to good priest rogue. They got nice damage etc but if you can survive that you counter them pretty easyly Soulz is your warlock ccing the rogue allowing you to drink now and then? | |

| Shaman probably gets sapped, I personally for a Voidwalker and with a good use of Consume Shadows you might find the rogue. Using the "Hellfire tactic" is bugusing and I have no respect for that. So I don't use it myself, surviving the sap is not even hard anyway. Spreading dots + rotating fears is the key to victory in my opinion, good fears on the rogue with UA up, Hex can help you get up UA and fear rotations if the rogue should be locking you down. | |

| best thing ive found is switching to pets when the lock is at 50% or so health, putting too much pressure on the shamman to keep them both off, risne and repeat, save fears cloaks and sprints for summons and its good game. never have your preist get in the aoe fear or it can cause trouble | |

| also, a good rogue will only be feared during howl of terror, gl juking a good rogue when you have mind numbing up. | |

| What if the Shaman gets targeted, I have the problem where I get sapped and they go on my Shaman. Priest kills tremor while my Shaman is stunned, while I'm feared my Shaman dies because if I trinket, I get blinded, if I don't he dies. I don't see a way to beat this team when they go for the Shaman. | |

| i think your warlocks need to learn to kite if the shaman goes oom before the priest. CoEX on both the priest and the rogue (both to avoid fear and minimalize damage from the rogue due to poison cleansing from shaman). you can tell your shaman to go drink and teleport if hes really desperate for mana i guess, but he shouldn't be if your lock is playing right. | |
| Mar 22, 2009 - 10:35 PM (HideShow) | |
| What happens against the teams we fight is that although we can kite pretty well, when the priest gets low on mana the rogue switches to the pet exclusively and priest is able to get drinks off. It's a delicate dance that can be pulled off if the shaman doesn't get feared by the priest for full duration and mana burned during that time. Every time the CD on fear is up there is a chance the priest/rogue team will get a fear/manaburn combo off on you and GG the fight. I've had fights where I manage to avoid 3 psychic screams in a row and then the fourth try he gets me and my partner tries to dispel but it hits another debuff and then GG I get mana burned like 5 times and I'm waaaaay far away from any LOS to avoid the mana burns between my shock cooldowns. Tough fight but not impossible if you use combat bug and the shaman doesn't mess up, ever. He heals the lock, dispels the poisons, snares the rogue, hexes rogue or priest, purges priest's heals, shocks priest's heals, gets drinks off, stays at least 10 yards from priest the whole time, shocks priest's mana burns and uses LOS. Not hard at all. | |

| Stupid fight. Tremor totem is worthless against a good priest. Rogue and priest with GLG able to take warlock from 100 to 0 in literally 6 seconds. Like many of us multi-gladiators have said, s5 = tic tac toe. | |
| Apr 15, 2009 - 4:45 AM (HideShow) | |
| Usually rogue saps me (shaman), then run to lock (trick with helffire phail most of thime). Then rogue start to pushup my lock so hard, so i can't los or runaway, and lock's casting inscreased by insane amounts. Then I waste most of mana on dispell, healin and priest come and simply push one MB button till I go oom and that's all. He really don't care much about dots or smth, just do MB either or me or on lock. Ofc all totems killed asap so since shamans less mana effective then priests we all die. | |
