Shaman/Warlock

  | Shaman/Warlock | VS. | | Mage/Shadow Priest |
This team is can be quite annoying. They have ridiculous CC and burst, but, because of a lack of MS effects, it's not too bad.
Basically, you have to stay back (in your starting area) while your Warlock goes out (they'll most likely try and rush you), this forces them to go through your Warlock, and take damage/CC's on their way to the Shaman. Purge the Mage, and run out as far away as you can. Your Warlock then just focuses mainly on the Mage, but also pressuring the Priest. You have to kite a lot! Earthbind, Frost Resist, Grounding, Frost Shock.
The reason the Warlock is on the Mage is because this limits their burst somewhat by preventing Shatter combos, and also spell locks.
Obvious tips:
- Purge as much as you can, but don't risk yourself, or you'll probably die.
- They have a lot of burst. Don't be afraid to use NS or Healthstones if you think you might die.
- Warlock Perspective: Warlocks, on the off chance they go to DPS you, make sure you have your Spellstone equipped. Since you're going out there to disrupt them early on, you're right there for them to attack, and using Spellstone to escape that shatter combo/set of DoTs helps a lot. If they are on the Shaman (which they should be) Fear their Mage, if he breaks with WoTF, do it to the Priest. You'll probably spend more time doing this than anything, because they're both very mana reliant. If you can outlast to low mana while fearing them and getting DoTs up while you can, you can win this. It's tough, though; a few moments of alone time with your Shaman and he's toast. And when I say moments, I mean moments. Your Shaman needs to LOS a lot and spam Grounding Totemt. Killing Water Elementals helps as 2-3 dots will do it, but don't neglect to Fear one of them when doing this; it's not worth it. Don't forget to save your Felhunter dispel for the sheeps of the Mage. Save your trinket for this as well, since dispel is on a 8 second cooldown. And believe me, 5 seconds unmolested is enough time for them to down your Shaman. Probably one of the most explosive and intense battles you'll see.
