Shaman/Warlock

VS.

Hunter/Holy Paladin

This combo is hard if you don't react fast, they can be really deadly with the damage the Hunter deals. In start let them come to you, you can try to go open and lure them to attack and send their pet towards you. At this point dot them pet. When the hunter "turns red" you should use your teleport to los him ASP, this is the part that you will most likely die if your not in LOS against him. After its over you can get back out there. Main focus here should be the paladin again, have dots on the hunter but keep fearing and hexing him much as possible.

Cut out their damage. Keep hurting the Paladin with your Shaman's support and you should be able to kill him, if not he should run oom at least and then die.

Have also dots on the pet, most of the time the Paladin will also heal the pet, and you want to make him much as possible if your going to get him oom.

Not a hard comp at all, every warlock that play's arena should remember that they are pretty much the "epic version of a hunter"

Its pisseasy to avoid hunters Dmg, especially with coT and fears, hump pillars as much as you can, shaman keep (Poison, flametongue, Stoneskin(grounding when you need) and wrath(grounding when you need) Down at all time obviously.

Focus on keeping all 3 dotted and kill the pet whenever you get a chance, warlocks doTs+flameshock lavaburst > pet.
With the pet dead this is pretty much a won fight, warlocks can so easily counter a pet-less hunter leaving the shaman to be able to drink anytime.

With pet dead, keep both dotted and have shaman assist with the dps, Get a fear on the paladin with ALL dots + Flameshock on him, Hex him after the fear (2x cc that can be dmg'Ed through > paladins) Force him to bubble, rins and repeat.

This setup is extremely easy to beat, the warlocks should not be fools and stand in the middle of the arena and get WHACKED by the 30k explozive shots ; ever.

@ Sectar; how does CoT help avoid a hunters damage??

This should be easy, Los hunter and DOT all. Shammy can revome viper sting and the enemy pala will be forced to heal the pet or hunter from your dots.

The hunter if he's not stupid will put the pet on the warlock if it's on the shammy you get mana and he can drag it back and kill it. When the pet is on you (the lock) dot it up with UA and souldrain it do as much damage as possible. save you spell lock and coil to cc the pala when the pets about to die.

When the pets dies just all out nuke the hunter and cc the pala

* keep tongue on the pala when possible*
