| Most of the cases the shaman cant even be bothered to shock (atleast at start) The plus about this is that a warlock can assist you better than anyone vs 2 dps, INCASE he gets sapped, use RIPTIDE and pop HEROISM a-s-a-p, have the riptide hoT onyou when you get cheepshotted. You should have had grounding down to make the mage waste time for spellsteal, icelance and allthat, keep the mage focus targeted, he isnt casting a "Shatter frostbolt" when you are in kidney, save the trinket. If he starts casting asap, trinket kidney and dropp grounding > riptide > ES if he spellstole it > Ns if you are that low. Warlock should be out of sap now and should allways open with a Cot on mage / Dc on rogue. Warlocks are unsheepable due to Felhunter>sheep, if the mage bothers to silence a fear instead of a heal then you should stay alive anyway, dipends on your resi and the rogues gear. So, dipends on the situation if you need to trinket kidney or not, i usually do and survive easily, even tho CoT is nerfed it makes the mage a little more useless when put on him. after Deathcoil/fear on the rogue the shaman should be free to Gwolf away. | |

| From shaman PoV: It's never a mana war vs this setup so use everything u got when the fight starts, stoneclaw / magma / spam heal and hot if ur caught in a nova use grounding totem and be prepared to use hp stone + lic / alch pot / herbalism if ur below 75% at any given time. Keep poison cleanse and frost resist down at all times and earthbind as well along spam cleanse spirit on urself or the warlock if they are on him. Shock the mage frostbolt/sheep doesn't really matter what you shock imo. | |

| You actually do have a some time to shock if you use Windshock. When facing this comp, I practically spam Wind shock in between grounding totems, Riptides, Earth shields and GCD lock in general. | |

| I was wondering if your lock need to put Demon armor on? or just keep Fel armor? | |

| If you suspect they'll focus the warlock you should use Demon armor, it kinda works like a diminishing effect on wound poison, making it easier (more bearable) to recover from the sick damage done to you. | |

| The only way this comp is remotely beatable is because of combat bug lol, you really gotta be on point with your totems and shocks at the start of the game. If you can survive the first 8 seconds of the match you will probably win. | |

| a good warlock can completely make the mage useless for the 'initial burst' by tongues/pet silence macro and Los. save coil for the rogue to break up his damage get a fear off if possible, when the rogues coiled renew tongues and at least get of instanst casts on the mage then los him again. All your shammy has to do is interupt sheeps and los him, save trinket for blind. The lock can stop the mage while the duration of sap lasts, by silencing and los ( even if you dont use the hellfire trick which i dont). Hardest combo for this setup imo is Shadowpriest/priest - rogue as they can dispell your dots and you never have time to get up UA etc | |
