| I had a problem with Druid/Warlock the other night, and I usually knock out druid warlock easy, it's the one fight I know how to win except for this new strat. I first just said, meh we messed up, but I encounter other teams where they were able to completely lock out the shaman from healing me (warrior) in the beginning of the match, and were able to burst me down, cycloning me to prevent the shaman's heals to hit me, then cyclone the Shaman, dps me down. Did we just mess up, or is there a pattern to have the druid/warlock able to burst a warrior quick at the start? | |

| Did you go defensive stance? Did your shaman juke the Spell Lock or obvious Feral Charge? Make sure your shaman is interrupting the druids casts too. | |

| there should be no way for them to lock down your shaman. have him shock + grounding the cyclones and if he is being feared drop tremor totem frequently. move 8 yards drop one again and again then he wont be locked down by fear | |

| Alright just sounds like we messed up then, thought there was something else we could do at the start, but just a bad night then. | |

| I find it hard as shammy to prevent all the cyclones. I can stop two in a row with shock + grounding, but on next cast the shock is on cd. Is it possible to prevent 100% of the cyclones without relying on a lucky spell reflect? Is intercept enough? Locks throw instants constantly which might eat the reflect. | |

| You're not going to get 100% of the Cyclones, but have your warrior save his Intercepts for the druid. You don't want to Spell Reflect that much because you lose all rage, and a lot of damage. But, if it comes down to it have your warrior Spell Reflect it. Your warrior should save his Spell Reflect for the very last part of the cast of Cyclone to Spell Reflect to actually get it. So, it doesn't get eaten up by the locks DoT spell. | |

| I love to piss them off, interrupt the void walker summon in the beginning burst the fel hunter, ignore the void and 20 seconds later we won | |

| Played this combo today lol, won 30 points in 3 matches :/. First match was down to the wire because i missed some crucial things, ended up killing the druid lol. 2nd match warlock forgot to Re-Soulink and it was e-z. 3rd match they tried healing they pet so i burst the lock | |

| A couple of hours ago we faced the same trouble that Wickleer had.. The druid opened with a stun on shammy while me and warlock were fighting.. cycloned him before he went out of stun shammy did trinket this cyclone then he were spell locked and cycloned again with no chance to stop it.. meanwhile i were getting very low when the shammie came out i were cycloned and shammie feared with tremor down though.. and i died before the shammie could get anything other than the instant heal off.. should i have done more to interupt the druid? If so cant the warlock just nuke us big time? im not specced for instant spellreflect btw .. plz help us on this .. we normally have lock druid under control but this new cc nuke tac just blew us away .. | |

| ^ Same tactic was used against us Raz. Open on lock.. he pulls me away from shammy. Druid pops out, stun, 3x cyclone. Spell lock, then cyclones me to prevent heal once my shammy gets out of CC. My shammy gets NS heal off, but then they do another one of the CC rotations, and I die. >.< Kind of our fault I suppose for not killing Fel Hunter, but Lock had good control over his pet and would always pull it off Shammy if I attempted to attack it. As Raz mentioned, DEFINITELY caught us off guard with this tactic. | |

| @ the post above me. There is no way I can heal a felhunter through a warrior with WF, doesn't matter how well the lock controls it. I can only keep it up for so long so you shouldn't really have trouble killing it. | |
| May 29, 2008 - 9:28 PM (HideShow) | |
| We actually usually win but it ends up being with a VW and it also happens because my lock has a pet totem killing macro which works wonders. Sorry for the double-post. | |

| me and my partner faced this combo many times tonight... we had some really rough games. our win strat was kill the pet, kill it again b/c we usualy cant cant shock / purge it. bloodlust and bounce between druid and lock... ppl say if the druid is healing he isint CCing... you guys forget hes HoTs... so he HoTs up the lock and than CCs. TH BIGGEST TING AGAINST THIS TEAM IS THEIR MANA!!!!! DONT LET THE DRUID HAVE INRVATE!!!! PURGE IT!!! SLAP HIM A BIT TO KEEP HIM IN COMBAT!!!! DONT LET HIM DRINK OR GG!!!! | |

| purge down the lock while warrior kills the pet, then immediately intercept lock and sit on GCD. shammy should have grounding down right here becuase the lock/druid is going to try and CC to prevent purge. wait for fel-dom. dont use a single GCD [as warrior] until you hear the sound/see the buff, then hit pummel pretty much instantly. I catch fel-dom casts a lot, and a pre-purged lock is pretty easy to strip of it. if you get the fel-dom, gg. keep up sunders and win. if he gets the void out, stack sunders and win. voidwalkers are free mana. | |

| Having much more problems against this combo now that fel armor is undispellable we generally stuck the lock and gibbed the first pet. That strat seemed to get owned with the fel armor change so now we generally sit on the pet early while blowing trinket and fears to get the first pet. The lock will then probably fel dom a void and then we dig on for a mana battle. My warrior sticks the lock preventing fears while I sit druid preventing CC. One of the biggest problems is we lose the mana battle and we just can't seem to burst the warrior now. Any suggestions? | |

| first pet is usually a fel hunter and they go down pretty quick. and even if they do get alot of healing the druid is using alot of mana keeping it up cause you do way more dmg to that pet with MS effect than the warlock is doing to both you and the shaman. very often, especially with a mace spec warrior you will have openings to purge fel domination. however if he manages to summon the second pet and its a voidwalker i suggest you stick on the warlock, have your shaman slowly take some hitpoitns off the void(obviously out of LoS from druid) while the warrior saves up for a full ragebar to surprise nuke the void down. works like a charm. you really need to get both those pets down or you are looking for a manafight which you will lose. | |

| "If you see them at the start make sure you pretty much rush them, because once the Warlock sees it's Shaman/Warrior he'll start summoning a Voidwalker." Stopped reading there. Imo this guide suxs. Lock/druid will cc shamy to hell and warr will die even if you fake cast everything. | |

| Yeah this guide really sucks i mean its written by limewire...he was only rated No.1 on his BG for this combo. WTF do you mean u stopped reading after "If you see them at the start make sure you pretty much rush them, because once the Warlock sees it's Shaman/Warrior he'll start summoning a Voidwalker." if you dont do that the fight becomes INCREDIBLY difficult. Ive experienced this first hand and i bet limewire has as well, or he would not post it in his guide. | |

| SO pretty much anything with a warlock now is retarded hard to beat... | |
| Sep 8, 2008 - 11:14 PM (HideShow) | |
| Sweettooth id love to be on your BG if all the shammys simply allow your druid to CC lock them like that and the warrior doesent kill your pet and doesent have medallion equipped. 3 shot felhunter if you resummon it we 3 shot it again then just stick to lock. if druid keeps trying to CC shammy lock will die, and if by some miracle lock survives 2 miniutes or so the druid will be OOM making it easy to intercept heroism deathwish ftw. | |

| from my experience (which isn't a whole lot) warlocks always use fel hunter and just have it sit on my shaman which keeps him spell locked alot of the time. we normally just try to jump the warlock and intercept/pummel/warstomp(both tauren)/ES/grounding totem all the cc warlocks usually go down pretty easily. | |
