Shadow Priest/Rogue

Difficulty: 5/10

There are several ways to play this mirror, but we prefer to CC the Rogue and kill the Priest. Racials are going to play a HUGE role in this fight, like any other mirror. Undeads should always win if both teams are equally skilled with Humans coming in at a distant second.

Since this fight has so many possibilities due to racials, I will explain it as if your Rogue is Human. Your Rogue should pop Sprint and Perception right at the start, try to Sap the enemy Rogue, open on the Priest right away. Like many mirrors, the team that gets a stronger opener and plays more offensively will have the advantage. Fear Ward will likely be on the enemy Rogue, so our Priest needs to dispel that before attempting to Fear. It's pretty much a race between which team can down the others' Priest first. Your Rogue cannot trinket any Priest Fears. If he does, he will get Blinded then Sapped then Feared again, and that's an automatic loss. Your Priest must dispel the Fear, or our Rogue needs to sit through it. If the enemy Rogue trinkets at any time, Blind/Sap and finish the Priest.

One thing I forgot to mention - when you're double human against double UD, don't even bother trying to dispel fear ward if it's on the rogue. The timeline of this fight almost never goes beyond 2 fears, so even if you fear him and he WotFs you usually won't get a chance fear again. Simply zerg down the priest hard; our priest will need to be extremely on the ball with dispels on the rogue to make up for their lack of WotF. Our priest needs to try to outrange the other priest's fears so he doesn't also get feared and becomes unable to dispel our rogue.
