Shadow Priest/Rogue

VS.

Druid/Hunter

Difficulty: 5/10

Not too bad of a fight, definitely much easier with a Shadow Priest than Discipline. We are killing the Hunter and CCing the Druid. The key thing is knowing when to time our burst to force a trinket from the Druid. Again, the goal is to get the Druid to trinket as soon as possible, so he won't have it up for the CC that will get his Hunter killed. A Hunter doesn't do a lot of DPS with a Rogue on him, so this fight will be similar to Druid/Warlock and could last a long time. Don't give up if things are looking bad; all it takes is one well timed CC and the game is won. Getting this CC off against a good Druid is going to be the hard part.

Your Priest should start mounted (as always) and your Rogue should open on the Hunter. Your Priest will remain mounted until the Druid pops out, then ride over to the Druid and Fear. This is so our Priest doesn't get caught in one of the huge arsenal of Hunter snares, like Frost Trap, Snake Trap, or Wing Clip, Concussive Shot, etc. Once the Druid is Feared, you need to pop all cooldowns and DPS the Hunter as hard as you can. Hopefully the Druid will trinket to save his Hunter, and we just follow that with a Blind, Silence, and another Fear. If the Hunter somehow lives through this burst and the Druid still has his trinket up, you try the same tactic again except you won't have cooldowns. The longer this fight lasts, the harder it becomes. Also, like any other Druid team, your Priest needs to get rid of HoTs on the Hunter, with the priority being Abolish Poison. Our Rogue getting kited and dealing little DPS opens the Druid up for free CCs, and the lack of healing pressure is often the reason for losing. The Priest needs to dispel Entrapment and Freezing off of the Rogue as well.

what we found really good was for the rogue to sit back a little, and have the priest rush straight for the hunter and fear him and his pet, fully dot, followed by mind blast+SW:D, and when the hunter is first fully dotted thats when the rogue CS and follow it with a MB+SW:D. that leaves the hunter at around 50-60% health by the end of it. when the druid pops to heal rogue sprints over and blinds, and priest dispel the hots he put on the hunter. with the pressure from the initial dps the druid should trinket the blind, thats when you can either keep dpsing the hunter and spamming dispel while running around to druid for a fear + silence, or you can even full out switch to the druid with a good vanish CS blow all cooldowns (AR, bladeflurry, etc) 5 pt kidney shot hard dps -> silence on druid and kill him.

and have the priest blow shadowfiend after his starting dps/burst because he'll most likely have viper sting on him. if the priest mounts into a freeze trap, just have him trinket it unless the hunters already viper stinged him, which it will break.. we do this strat because our rogue is HARP and cant get through the flare to open, its too risky and maximizes dps/cc.
