| A good Shaman will know that the Warlock's partner is a rogue just by clicking on the warlock and seeing that he isn't buffed with anything. Once that is determind, the shaman will shapeshift into ghost wolf preventing the sap. When this happens, how do you proceed? | |

| Seriously, sap is nice, but not a necessity. It's still possible to fear the shaman three times, lower his casting with curse of tongues, silence him with felhunter and of course the rogue can blind > vanish > sap him. Lock/shaman is much easier for lock/rogue than warrior/shaman as there'll be no warrior to interrupt the warlock's casting. Unfortunately for you lock/rogue teams out there, this is not a very popular setup. | |

| You won't be able to sap a Shaman. They can stay ghost wolf and purge the warlock to immediatly get into combat from ghost wolf form. | |

| Omfg how hard can it be... sap the warlock, sprint shadow step stun lock the shaman and begin burst. 5 sec into the sap, you banish the pet (may take two trys due to resist), then go fear the warlock. This will make lock unable to dispel fear on himself. I he does not trinket out, you should be able to burst a shaman down with all dots and incinerate spam, while rogue kicks and you spell lock. If he does trinket, you just blind him. If well communicated, and with a little luck, this is a frigging easy fight. /care at my ratings, no not-taken partners on my server | |

| "A good Shaman will know that the Warlock's partner is a rogue just by clicking on the warlock and seeing that he isn't buffed with anything." Not true. A druid with half a brain will MotW himself, but wait til mid fight to put it on the lock (Or whatever his partner may be). So unless you're playing with an idiot druid, the above statement is false. | |
