Rogue/Warlock

VS.

Shadow Priest/Rogue

Use the felhunter's stealth detection to your advantage. Try to sap their rogue and then get on the priest. If the priest rushes right in, jump on him. It is very important to use cc on the rogue, but even without the sap it is still very possible. If the rogue jumps on you while the priest is very far away, jump on him. Make him trinket a kidney or a fear, and then blind. If you get the sap, just jump the priest and cc the rogue as normal. You can also do this by killing the opposing rogue first and ccing priest, although I do prefer to kill the priest.

ccing the rogue is not viable at all. all this team has for cc is fear, other than 1 blind, which you wont be able to use unless rogue trinkets, which will proly be hard against good priests cause of DISPEL. obviously start with a sap on the rogue if you can, and open up very fast on him with CS, and chain with KS. lock starts with immo and then the rest of his dots. the more dots on the rogue, the sooner he will CloS, and the sooner you can reapply them. rupture is a must to have up, so you can chase a rogue down after a clos/vanish, and possibly sprint to get away.

the lock better have his spellstone equiped, caue it is SOOOOO useful vs spriest. save it for silence, cause it will proly remove bout 3-4 dots anyways with it. try and burn fearward off spriest early if its on him. use deathcoil at a proper time: if priest is undead, you can use it during wotf if rogue is going down, if rogue has a KS on lock, a trinket deathcoil will help to get a fear on priest.

With regards to Orgodemir's comment, why on earth would you not go for the priest? A shadow priest is the most fragile class in the game, particularly against rogues, not to mention his DPS is almost completely shut down with a rogue on him while a warlock is capable of a bit more due to having more instant casts and not needing to use direct damage spells with cast times.

There's just no way their team is going to be able to take down your warlock faster than you will take down their shadow priest. Going on the rogue when he has CloS, 2 evasions, and a priest who can potentially drop out to heal is just silly.

a priest can easily pot out of shadow after rushing in and VT, swp, and bubble/renew. the priest will be healing for alot more thant he lock can + have his own dots on the lock. w/ rogue on the rogue, you prevent alot more dps. if you dont kill priest in 22 seconds, you lost due to a 2nd fear (thats just considering your rogue is undead) a felhunter doesnt usually resis fear, but it can be in a different spot to devour. there are ways to make both strats work, but what was described above is a paragraph of vague descriptions of how to play. a CS, deathcoil, and fear are Alot of cc the priest cant handle. most games the priest start with fear ward on the rogues, so its usually not that hard to shut him down.

Pretty sure Wrongguy and I (Naggers with Money) have 95% of the time killed the rogue in this combo, it is much easier to CC/Control the priest.

Personally I like going for the Priest, while CoEx/Fear kiting the Rogue.

if its a half decent rogue he will eventually lock down your warlock, i think getting on the rogue is a must. if the priest becomes immune the fear and blind is already used, your rogue should vanish/cs and stunlock the priest to prevent heals. by this time their rogue should be low enough and will die from dots

Different strat depending on race...effing humans

If SPriest has Rocket Boots, and you're nuking the Spriest, you're screwed up. This team can basically turn into a semiDpriest Rogue in just one second.

completely disreguard the first comment by orgard imo. I find that ccing the rogue in spriest/rogue, mage/rogue, and lock/rogue can be extremely easy if done right. If ur rogue can get a sap on the rogue in these situations than its gg. when the sap is nearing its end fear the rogue, if he trinkets the fear blind him. if he cloaks the fear still blind him and get ready for the trinket after the blind then immediately fear him. If no sap wait for the rogue 2 pop on u or the rogue than immediately DC him into chain fears until cloak or trinket. For spriest/rogue and mage/rogue alike u should just be fully dotting the priest or mage and ccing the rogue while ur rogue eats his face.

Well most shadow priests probably heal 75% of the match when they realize they are dieing awfully fast so we burn priest asap. cc rogue best you can.

Kill the priest. If the lock dies anywhere near the time the priest dies tell the lock to l2survive.
1. Dot only 1 target. 2 dotted targets result in PoM bounces.
2. Keep pet on the focused target- the priest.
3. Use your healthstone and deathcoil early. Using it earlier generates more hp returns due to a lower stack of wound poison.
4. If necessary fake a fear to draw a kick cd. Then fear the rogue. Make sure you double fear in case he trinkets.
5. If the priest still isnt dead yet feldom summon a Voidwalker. Use suffering on the rogue to give him a higher chance to miss.
6. Sac the void.
7. Drain life and Spellstone out of silence of 5 stacks of shadow vuln.

Impossible to lose unless your rogue dcs.
