| worst strat ive ever read. with autodevour you cant dispel sheeps which leads to trinket-blind-more polies. a simple deathcoild doesnt get rogues to trinket, and a rogue will kill a lock much faster than a mage, especially with icelance crits from novas. gota keep dots on rogue and rupture to chase him down after clos/vanish. CSing shatters is a MUST. use CS, deathcoil, and fear on the mage imo. juking a CS with fear is much much easier than a mage juking spell lock with frost bolt. drain alot for health back on the rogue. make sure to not use CCs at same time on mage.. aka dont fear right after a CS, but wait 5 seconds. extending the time the mage doesnt dps will win the game | |

| no, his strat is perfectly correct. if your rogue gets sheeped - your rogue sucks. or if it really gets to the point where the rogue cant do anything silence him while he casts it. always kill the frost mage and try to CC/live through rogue. never lost to this combo because of it. | |

| I gotta say, these strategies and spec seem a little bit outdated, I went up against this team rogue/mage, and the warlock ate my mage's sheeps, and the rogue's attacks stacked with the locks dots broke through the ice barrier no problem. | |

| strat is off warlock isn't going to live through the rogue and no rogue is going to trinket out of clos -- you have to start 1v1ing the Mage and have your rogue waiting closely nearby you keep devour magic off auto cast so you can dispell polymorphs on your rogue nuke the enemy rogue down as fast as possible if the rogue trinkets out of the kidney shot then go for the blind (meaning.. don't start casting dots until stuns are completely gone.. aka searing pain spam if you go after the mage.. he can sit in iceblock all day while his rogue just annihilates you and then the game is lost | |

| Way out of date, if both the rogue and the lock attempt to kill the mage, he just chills in ice block and kites while the enemy rogue is grinding down on the lock. Sure the rogue can be eaten out of any sheeps, but then again, if you look at any very good ice mage duel vs a rogue, it takes a good while. | |

| Best thing to do. And ive faced this combo about 11 times so far weve only lost once. Due to a lucky sap from a human rogue behind a pillar. But if you let your warlock take down the mage 1v1. But this is how it should start out. You should stay stealth. Let your warlock mount up and try to get in combat immediatly with the mage to avoid getting a sap+Shatter Combo if he does get sapped you stay behind mage sap him in the middle. or have the warlock spell lock it. But as soon as the rogue opens up on the warlock you hop on him and keep him off your lock with ruptures shiv and KS and Vanish CS. mean while your warlock is working the mage. Which should be a easy for for any decent warlock. In the end the warlock usually kills the mage and then dies due to the rogue being on him. But by then the dots on the rogue should of ticked him to atleast 25% leaving you at full vs a rogue bleeded at 25% and healthstone and evasion still up.. So from there its all up to the rogue. | |

| The lock shouldn't have to mount up to get into combat, sending your pet at an enemy puts you in combat. Just send the pet in and follow behind it. What I mean is if I see oh I dunno a mage on the other side of the arena with no buffs, I can go run behind a pillar, target the mage, and tell my pet to attack it. I don't have to cast, don't have to be in LOS, etc. The pet doesn't even have to be anywhere near the opponent but you're still in combat. You'll never gets sappy. | |

| Beat the hell on the rogue and curse of tongue+countrspell, fear do everything you can to the mage. Once your rogue is sitting on their rogue, their rogue will not kick you or do much damage on you at least for 10 secs. also, some rogues trinket out of kidney shot feeling threat of their life, then simply blind. Your rogue however, shouldn't go for the mage since he's gonna ice block twice and their rogue will do whole shitload of damage on warlock. Make sure lupture is on their rogue to prevent him from clos+vanish. | |

| As a human, I toss up perception and run around to find the rogue. Toss up CoT on the mage so they will have to despell it or their next cast will be longer. IF you find the rogue attack him, have your rogue attack their rogue. If mage is abou to do a shatter combo, silence. (Focus frames + Spell lock Focus macro helps here) and dispell sheeps that are on your rogue, if your rogue can keep up a rupter on theirs, he cant CoS vanish. Also a good Idea to banish pet and if silence is on CD, Deathcoil the mage, or rogue if your low and LoS the mage. | |

| What my Rogue does and works... he lets me 1v1 the mage since its increadibly easy with spell lock and CoT and he starts on the rogue and does everything to keep him of me... if he trinkets a kidney... blind then he can help on mage... weird but those work for us.Plus the fears and Nub Coil on rogue locks him down.. | |

| Yeah, I just rush the mage to avoid being sapped. I know for a fact frost mages won't get many frost bolts off with spell lock CoT all that good stuff. my rogue waits to open up on their rogue so when the other team's rogue opens on me my rogue locks him up, i get dots up, mage is down by then, run away! win. | |

| Against this comp I'm a fan of the soloing the mage strategy, usually i send pet to get me in combat, if they decide to kill my pet, we just laugh ans open on the rogue with bleeds and dots while CCing mage, if they dont go for pet, solo the mage, save CS for a shatter combo, rogue will hop on u, have ur rogue hop on him back, at this point if mage has already blown block, fear and/or blind him, he'll trinket one, the other will hit him, then rape rogue, if he still has it, just keep both dotted up, banish water elemental if u can, beware of counterspells on banish tho, lock will probably die, but the mage will too and that leaves your rogue at 100% vs their rogue at 25-50% with all ur dots and bleeds on, GG | |
