| How do you survive all the burst from the Rogue/Mage? Assuming they target the Priest, I Shield/PoM/Renew whenever possible and usually blow my Pain Suppression early, dispelling my warrior whenever I have the chance as he is on the Mage. If I'm lucky I get a mass dispel off on the Mage before I have to use my battlemasters trinket and then fall dead on the ground, and its up to my Warrior to beat down a Rogue from 90% life (due to my reflective shields). And this is only on a good note, normally ends in the Mage and Rogue still being alive. Also, while my Warrior is Howling the Rogue I am still stuck with stacks of slowing poison/frost novas and cant get out of range. Spam dispelling myself means I cant get in any PoM/Shield/Renew and we all know what happens if you try to cast a block heal vs a Rogue or Mage >.< | |

| Always always dispel novas when they hit, that's where their burst comes from. Pain Suppress when you see trinkets pop or a pet come out and they are in a good position. Psychic Scream the rogue asap, when he trinkets (or WotF... and if he does, have your warrior wait a few seconds) and have your warrior fear. Even if he is undead and gets out of two fears, the way I spec its only 15 seconds or so until I can fear again and even the fraction of time of your fear and your partners when he trinkets should greatly help. | |

| My pri mate and I have severe problems with this combo, even at low ratings... The burst is too much for me to handle, and yes, I know were both undergeared, but we have no problems staying steadily at 1750 rating, except when we meet this combo... Only thing we got going for us is pillar humping, and I'm loathe to give up my flurry for TM just to slightly increase chances against this combo... So any tips? Does anyone else have probs with this combo? If so what do u do? More aggresive or...? | |

| @Yemeth: My Warrior and me just reached 2350 in our battlegroup but the way was hard and filled with rouge/mage teams. we have some problems against this combo too, but we got some ideas to handle with it. If they attack the warrior the warrior should try to swtich to deff-stance and equip a shield to spellreflect the casts of the mage and block the rouges melee-dmg. although the warrior is attacked he should try to attack their mage within deff-stance and shield equipped, that's everything he can do if he is the focus-target of the rouge/mage. the priest should try to do some pillar humping and keep renew/shield/pom on the warrior. never use your trinket to get out of sheeps, just try to get out of LoS of the mage so he can't polymorph you. the priest should use his trinket for blind. if the priest wants to cast a flash heal he should cast it for about 0,5 seconds an cancel the cast, so the mage probably will fail his counterspell. then you can cast like shit^^ so that was a strategy if your warrior is the focus target of them. i will write a strategy later about what to do if the priest is focussed, because now i'm tired and want to go to bed^^ so long, Mulieri | |

| My strategy: When they're on Priest: Priest stays on mount. If he resists CS and doesn't get Crippled, it's already over. Hop on the Rogue, follow him around spamming Hamstring and MS, pop trinkets / Death Wish ASAP to burn him fast. Immediately kill Water Elementals when they pop up and most importantly, do your best to line of sight Polymorphs and immediately dispel Frost Novas. Priest shouldn't have any trouble staying alive against a Rogue getting maced stunned every 5 seconds and the Mage SHOULD be a non-factor if you're around a pillar. Rogue should die rather fast, spam piercing howl if you think he's going to vanish. When they're on the Warr: Warrior should back around the pillar and spam overpower/hamstring on the Rogue. To prevent bursts, time Fears well to prevent polymorphs and immediately burst Water Elementals, even SWD if you need to. Going Sword and Board is a double edged sword - I've found that when I put on a shield I rarely find a window to switch back to my 2 hander. Priest needs to dodge/fear polymorphs as well as possible. Save trinket for Blind. | |

| I strongly agree with never trinketting out of Sheep if you can help it. If you can't, then you did something wrong to put you into that position. The Mage can spam Sheep while the Rogue cannot. They definitely generally focus target the Warrior, as sheeping the Warrior is pointless if your just gonna dispel it. This is what happens the vast majority of the time for me. Shadow Word: Death trick helps a lot in this fight. Cast it just before the Mage gets his sheep off and that's one less sheep to deal with =^). But you probably shouldn't allow them to even cast it in the first place. | |

| if they go for priest it should be easier than if they go for warrior. if the rogue isnt undead, you can fear trinket warrior fear him at the start to buy some time | |

| Mage/rogue, Huge counter comp for any warrior/healer team. They can win plenty of ways, can focus priest and spam cc warrior, cc priest and kill the warrior or they can split dps having the mage v warrior and priest v rogue. Each way works but I say focusing the warrior and CCing the priest works the best for them. Plus this is even worse for priest/warrior than for any other warrior healer teams because the priest can dispel poison. | |
