Priest/Rogue

VS.

Mage/Warlock

This is a pretty simple fight. Have your Priest charge in and if the Warlock DoTs him that's an indication they are going to Focus him. Once your Priest is dotted have your Rogue move in and get on the Warlock. The Priest should spam Dispel the Rogue of Sheep/Fear. If the Priest is dotted it should be easy. If your Priest get sheeped at the beginning just let DR go up. The Priest should Dispel everyone and then Fear and Mana Burn the Mage until they realize the Rogue isn't coming out and start focusing the Priest. If they go for your Rogue, spam Dispel on him, use Cloak to not get Frostbolted. Always keep your Rogue above 80%, spam Dispel on him from Frost Nova and always keep heals on him. Shadow Word: Death sheeps. If you let the your Rogue get low you will get double Counterspelled and he will possibly die. Run away if the situation becomes bad with a Cloak/Vanish, don't use Cloak recklessly.

When I played Mage/lock in s3 (duelist now) priest/rogue was pretty easy for us. What we'd do was focus the priest and wait for the rogue. We could have solid cc on a rogue and pressure a priest to keep healing himself, and even if he runs to the rogue a preemptive silence is easily done. a coordinated mage/lock can pretty much cc a target for an entire game, something ive accomplished many times. What I would suggest is the priest stay in the starting area until the rogue gets a sap (this is pretty easy to do even with a lock's paranoia, maybe not so if they're human). When I think about it, it'd be easier to sap the mage and jump the lock.

However it works either way, you'll jump one and the other will immediately cc you and push the priest back with silence or the other person will cc them so if you trinket you're kinda stuffed, if you eat the cc and get lucky enough to restealth that'd be great but I've almost never had it happen to me. Clos and reopen, hope it goes better the second time I guess. I'm not hating or anything I'm just posting my experiences and hoping that people will learn (since I've hardly ever seen this combo anymore I assume most people don't get to practice on it).

I honestly dont know how u can lose this. I guess going in too offensively ends in you getting CC-owned. What me and my partner do=

Wait for the the lock or mage to start attacking you, if they refuse to come in and wait for shadowsight... you can let them take it and wait it out (since the rogue is standing right under your mount nyway... or SS the warlock CS+KS him and the sprint the hell out behind a pillar.

The key to wining this fight is staying close to a pillar. the mage should NEVER sheep you, and fears should be so easy to LoS its not even funny. Have your rogue do wahtever he wants, he can stick to the warlock to prevent fears and make sure he doesnt waste clos just incase they switch for a shatter on the rogue. If they are trying to kill you, wish them a lot of luck a /laugh in their face. you can dispell every CC they have, and the only effective silence they have is counter spell (at which point trinket+ run behind a pillar) not to mention that if your good you can even fake out that CS at which point uve won. oh right i forgot about pet silence...but since both you and your partner are standing right next to a pillar its not like ur gonna get shattered any time soon, nor feared of sheeped if ur rogue does his job

Yes they can CoT you... but you shouldnt need any healing during the whole game.. Dispell dots- Dispell frost novas- dispell fears and sheeps on ur partner. Not to mention that if your rogue sticks to the warlock keeping him shived, ur not even gonna have the stupid curse on you

All in all 10/10 win rate if u stick to a pillar as if it was a destro lock (<- lol)(that means u never move away from it)
