Priest/Rogue

VS.

Druid/Rogue

This is an endurance match. The Druid will Abolish Poison his Rogue and either CC you and go for your Rogue or go after you (most cases they have gone after me), if they go for you (Priest). You must keep Crippling on the Rogue and LOS as best as you can and drink whenever possible. Be aggressive on the Druid and try to Fear him along with the Rogue at the same time (if possible), Mana Burn the Druid whenever you can and keep him running away from you. If they go for your Rogue just be sure to keep HoTs on him and never let him get too low, be aggressive on the Druid and drink whenever while trying not to let him drink though. This can go either way and once again depends on your coordination compared to theirs.

Also, try switching on the druid to get a couple of stuns on him while he's in caster and try to get free mana burns on him (time a fear on the rogue and shadowstep stun on their druid or something)

Hardest setup for us atm... we can beat warrior/drood setups with 70-80% chance but rogue/druid is a pain, most of the time I can't fear/burn cuz drood always LoSing me and ofc those cripplings suxx :<

yeah i'll also agree with you, i got the druid to low mana after fearing the rogue and focusing him making him stay in bearform more to avoid mana burns while rogue saves kidney for when he goes caster, he had 10% mana, did innervate, spirit trinket or something and put on his spirit weapons and went from 10% - 100% while the fucking rogue was on him. They were really good but I don't recommend trying to oom the druid but instead constantly switching and giving you the oppurtunity to drink while looking for an opening on getting a fear\blind\sap\fear combo to kill the rogue. Of course if you can get the dispel on innervate it would be good but i was too far out of range when he did it so if you do try to oom the druid by focusing him make sure you are ready for spam dispel.

Getting cycloned and then the Druid running off to Innervate/Drink can be a problem. I would make sure to keep Shadow Word: Pain Rank 1 on the Druid if he's Night Elf so he doesn't Shadowmeld (can't target him), and try to save trinket for if you get cycloned and the Druid has just started Innervating. I wouldn't do this however if the other Rogue hasn't used Blind yet.

Them attacking your Rogue would be stupid. Assuming you force the fight to be in the wide open area of the arena, the Druid would be forced to stay in a certain radius lest his Rogue be without heals since your Rogue will be attacking their Rogue.

This is a healing war the Druid cannot win as any time he goes caster he will have his Mana Burned away and the Priest doesn't have to worry about getting mana burned, so basically the Druid would be forced to stay in bear the entire time.

If they attack your Rogue go ahead and chalk up a win.

This is how i fought this combo on my priest against a 2500 dorf rogue/druid :

FYI, rogue was dwarf and used 2 pieces of s3, 4xt6, prolly around 250is res.
So game starts, rogue opens me, my rogue goes on him and stuns him/slow him as much as he can, i would just try to dispell the rogue as much as i can to get at least abolish off. Everytime i could i would run behind a pillar, and just drink, simply because i could never get a fear on the druid unless i would have stoneform/trinket up.

For about 5-7 mns we rinced and repeated while not really knowing what to do, and after this amount of time, their rogue got bored since we couldnt really kill me and switched to my rogue, letting me free to fear/burn the druid.
Short after, we won after ccing the druid into a fear/blind/sap combo.

I hope this could help anybody, the way we played was totaly random and seemed to work, but again we might have been lucky, or just made em gotten bored after 10 mns of game.

I play rogue/druid and our basic strategy is sit my rogue on their rogue and make it my mana vs. the priest's mana -- a fight a dreamstate druid will win, as I will dps the other rogue (insect swarm most mana efficient dps in game -- costs more to dispel than cast; has 30% dispel resist), and the other rogue can't stealth (rank 1 faerie fire 55 mana w/ 30% dispel resist, although watching a priest burn thru their mana dispelling it is hilarious) without clos'ing, and lifebloom is the most mana efficient heal in arena.

Additionally, a druid can run around in travel form and needs only a split second to throw up hots without anyone on them so while u can get feared & mana burned, it's a non-issue as your regen is stomping balls, and you can lifebloom stack from 0 mana if need be. Druid will rank 1 moonfire the priest every so often to force you into combat; alternatively if you're prayer of mending bouncing he can just rank 1 faerie fire to put u in combat as well, and rotate cyclones to make you fall behind on healing.

This fight usually ends with the priest oom, and the rogue dying in my experience. It takes about 10 minutes if the priest/rogue play conservatively. The only real hitch is if the druid burned his trinket on something other than blind, then u can get him into a fear/blind/sap combo that may be long enough to kill his rogue.

***My only real idea is to blind the druid midgame to force a trinket, then expertly time fear/blind/sap so the blind is used as soon as the cooldown is up, thus the druid can't trinket it, or the sap -- and pray his rogue dies. Don't blame me if the druid goes bear before the blind and dicks it all up.

Congradulations on proving that druids are the most OP healing class in the guild. =P

Same gear / same skill level priest rogue vs druid rogue, I garuntee you druid rogue wins 99 Percent of the time, THE only way a good priest rogue beats a good druid rogue, is IF, druid rogue's rogue gets sapped AND u find druid with a cheap shot, following a fear > blind sap on rogue while training druid. So really its not AN EITHER Or 9/10 druid rogue wins, garuteeed.

Just fought this combo in the mid 1700s. We played the fight freaking near-perfect and the druid was OOM via burns in the first minute, and proceeded to keep his rogue alive and CC my priest while having under 5% mana...

the issue is that the rogue goes on me (priest) and then im pretty much uncapable of mana burning at all nor healing, the rogue will gouge me or stun me or kick me, basically im slowed unless stoneform is up but thats a 1 timer and the rogue(usually being undead and unfearable) can get away from my fears if not already broken by my own rogue trying to get on their rogue. worst of all nowadays is the druid being a moonkin and doing aditional dmg + ccing my rogue, having extreme issues when the rogue goes on me.

Most decent Druid Rogue teams will try to CC your rogue, and go for the Priest. It is important for your rogue to not get caught in roots/cyclone. The Rogue should do his best not to be caught out of the line of sight of the Priest, so that the priest can dispel any roots that the druid gets caught in. It is extremely important for the Rogue to be able to CloS, vanish, LoS any cyclones that the Druid tries to get off.

If your rogue succeeds in peeling well, hopefully the other rogue will get frustrated and eventually tunnel vision your rogue, which is the best possible situation. When he does this keep hots up on your rogue, and play aggressive with the mana burns on the druid, not letting him drink and dispeling innervate as quickly as possible. If the opposing rogue ever gets low, or gets caught out of los of the druid, spam dispel on the rogue and CC the druid.

If they are playing smartly and the druid doesn't let the rogue get low, you and your rogue will have to switch targets frequently in order to keep the druid/rogue on edge. Hopefully in these switches, they will eventually mess up, or you can catch one of them really low and burst them while CCing their partner.

Overall this is a very tough fight, and as with most druid fights the odds aren't exactly in your favor.
