Mage/Ret Paladin

VS.

Priest/Rogue

Start with Sacrifice on your Mage and try to find the Rogue. The most reliable way of beating this team is to kill the Rogue while the Priest is Sheeped. Try to pull the Rogue away from LoS objects (Pillars and such), thus pulling the Priest away as well and allowing for him to be CCed. You must stun the Rogue to do significant damage, so try to time a Shatter burst during the stun. If the Priest is not CCed, don't try to stun. The most critical part of this match is at the beginning, so make sure you and your partner do not get dispelled up by the Priest. If the Rogue is hiding at the beginning, your Mage can Sheep the Priest and try to Shatter him to waste his Pain Suppression and other cool downs.

Remember that most rogues will tunnelvision the mage, this will give positional command to the mage. Meaning the mage controlls where the rogue will go. So always keep blinking through to your teammate so the pally can get his Seal of Casino damage off.

I like to keep the fight around the priest to give me a good shot at dps'n the rogue and potentially landing the devasting Counter-spell and/or icy veined polly. But, should you ever be in the situation where the paladins hammer is up and the rogues trinket is down - blink away from where ever the priest is and attempt a hammer + frostbolt combo. The priest will have to leave his LoS pillar(or tomb) and decide between dispelling the hammer or healing. Either option leaves you in the better position. If the priest heals go for the repent and/or counterspell and finish the rogue.
