General Information
Hello and welcome to the guide of Enhancement shaman and Holy Paladin Guide. Before you guys start reading my wall of text you should know that this setup took an enormous nerfbat with the Divine Plea change, before the change you basically played defensive and purged every divine plea with your pally being JoTW specced so at the end you won the mana race.
Disclaimer: Your only advantage with this setup will be the first game when fighting a new team since they might don't know how to fight this setup but it's easy adaptable. Also you will winning the games by off shocking and some wf rng.
Playstyle:
Be aggressive be be aggressive! If you as a shaman are cleansing yourself from diseases and poisons you and equipping a shield you shouldn't drop in the first seconds of the fight. I have actually been killed during a mutilate rogue stun when dismantled and my pally being cc:ed so don't get to cocky.
There is mainly two Important thing to remember as the shaman that can determine the game (besides off shocking and positioning yourself good) and that is Spirit Wolves and Shamanistic Rage. Let's start with the wolves.
Spirit Wolves: You can use it as a burst tool against two dps teams use it when you know that you might shit bricks due to their burst. Two wolves that are on crystal meth is many times a pain for a frost mage or any other caster so be smart when using them since they are rather uncontrollable atm.
You can also use them to prevent drinking from the other team (they wont be able to drink for 45 sec if you pet them on the healer) and off course you will get healed for a retarded amount.
Shamanistic Rage: Now this ability is your main survivability tool. It is also your main mana regen tool after water shield so you have to use SR smart. Use it when you are stunlocked and your healer is unable to act due to cc w/e. Use it early and especially use it when some classes pop their powerups, DRW, Gargoyle, Icy Veins, Cold Blood and the list goes on.
When you are using it as a mana regen tool you better use it when you are sure you will get 4-6 ticks from it, basically use it when the healer or dps is slowed.
Some general abbreviations before explaining strategies.
SR= Shamanistic Rage
SW= Spirit Wolves
SS= Storm Strike
LL= Lava Lash
Ok now the difficulty scale goes from 1 to 5 with 1 being the easiest and 5 the hardest.

Builds
Paladin
The spec should be the FoTM JoTW spec with repentance, that works best for us at least.
Shaman
The specs are a personal choice, I for one enjoy being more of a tank so I'm going with most of the times a 8/63/0 spec or 11/60/0. You could skip toughness for Elemental Devastation if you believe you have enough spell crit.
Gear
Paladin
The paladin should be using some pve gear but a good amount of resilience as well, Shamans can peel fine but sometimes there will be some unlucky setbacks so better play it safe.
Shaman
Shaman should be in full pvp gear (preferably pvp weapons as well) with defensive socketing (stam/crit & stam/ap). The shaman could as well enchant bracers and legs with stamina (I do that but might change it when I have the last two deadly pieces). Just don't gimp yourself since the melee crit should be above 28% and Ap above 2.7k or something like that.

| I play it on my alt atm and it totaly shits on any team with a holy pala but get owned by resto druids since they are impossible to kill/oom. | |

| Priest is better. more offensive capability and double dispel can help a lot and not to mention mana burn is the only thing that really lets you win against certain teams and not just druid teams. I find that if you face a druid team though, you can run them oom relatively fast between PVE gear, constant switches, and purging as many hots as possible. You will out last a druid as an enhance shaman b/c of Shamanistic Rage and Stormstrike. Priest has better short term burst also when going for the kill. | |

| I just played this with a prot pally and its complete face roll against most teams. All you do is shit on someone and spam purge until they run out of mana. Intelligent healers won't let you do this but the unintelligent ones are funny. | |

| i keep hitting a team of this make up. I play with a disc priest the team is very odd and i am trying to understand what goes on when my priest gets blown to hell The make up for them is Enhancement shammy/ Prot specced Pally w/ Ret gear on... they just get on my priest and burn him down, i do everything in my power as a warrior to prevent his death any tips? lol | |
