Frost Mage/Discipline Priest

VS.

Feral Druid/Rogue

Difficulty - 5/5
Frequency of Encounter - 1/5

Occasional to versus but it can be devastation to your rating. Any time you see double stealth your mage should be invising off the bat to prevent sap. In this combo the amount of burst taken from the opener is huge. Come 3.1 Pain Supp glyph will be huge, Pain supp should be used the second the rogue opens on you. Following a trinket on either maim or KS, whichever you get hit by. Same goes as if your priest was surviving against Mage/Rogue, shields pom and PI novas. On the other hand the mage has a majority of options, especially if the enemy rogue is not undead. The priest needs to get a fear off and call it on vent so CC's don't stack. An early trinket from the rogue could mean full sheep DR's followed by another fear soon after, this makes the feral druid a viable kills target. The rogue is also a kill target. Depending on the situation a quick decision needs to be made, regardless of who you decide to nuke, you must get the damage pumping on him asap.

nice one mate ,
but i would say that choosing the f druid as a kill is preferable as u can control the rogue away from the priest .
and rather than wasting invi at the start of them game u can pop mirror images once u feel the rogue is getting close and there would be a big possibly to get him out of stealth "somtimes a clone gets sapped by mistake " , even if u got sapped they would catch him anywayz " im a human mage not sure if that makes a diff "
ofc this wont work 100 % of the time but i find going inv is a big waste , i mean the rogue would wait untill it fades

and popping mirros when you "feel the rogue is getting close" isnt a waste? fuckin retard lawl

I too think images is a better choice. I meen if there is nothign to sap the rogue is just gonna go sit down and wait. No pressure since both attackers are hidden they can sit on a rock all day.

I dont know if anyone can confirm if there is any logic of this tactic but anyway, here it goes!

We always try to start of ANY double stealth setup with my priest walking to the edge of an platform so that his back points out in thin air, thereby his back is not attackable for the feral. That way if its Rogue/Feral the Feral druids dps will be weaker since he cant attack the priest from behind. (Riiiiiiiight? :D)

The tactic then is to just nuke down the rogue by popping pet + mirrors and maybe landing a deep freeze on the feral to eaze pressure on priest. Polymorphing the Rogue to make him use trinket can also be useful, it also keeps down the pressure on the priest.

I choose to go on rogue since I rather go 1vs1 with the feral when I have little to no cds rather than a rogue.

I forgot to add, also use your invis in the begining of the fight to try avoiding the sap so that your priest can get in the right spot, that way they wont open the fight until you are out of invis.

Sniperjens, who in their right mind would rather go 1 v 1 with a feral? power shifting + heals is killer, rouges w/o dispels are cake.

i usually pop everything i have after sap if i get caught, and i dont like wasting invis at the begining cause they do jus sit there and wait. But when they do open up on my priest i pop my cooldowns try and get off a deep freeze on the druid/ poly the rogue to give em some space then go to town on the druid....... cause yeah ill fight a rogue all day over feral. lol that guy
