Druid/Warrior

VS.

Paladin/Warlock

Another simple matchup. Stay on the Warlock. Pummel fears, Feral Charge+Bash+Cyclone the paladin. Kill the pet if you have time. A smart Warlock/Paladin will do everything in their power to keep you from killing the pet, so whenever you get it low, make sure you have your CC abilities ready to ensure the kill. Druid assistance/Moonfire spam on the pet helps as well. However, most paladins will BoP the warlock when he gets to about 30-40% HP, the druid should immediately cyclone the warlock and feral charge the paladin. This essentially wastes the BoP and silences the paladin. BoP comes down and the warlock should be downed.

With a hopefully Mace Specced Warrior on the Warlock Mana Drains won't be your biggest problem. Avoid JoJ at all cost, your warrior has to help you with that. If you get JoJ'ed wait until the paladin stuns you before you use your trinket. You have to help your Warrior with killing the pets by interrupting heals. If the Warlock spawns a Voidwalker your Warrior will have some trouble killing the pet, but the void is easily rootable. A void with BoF can be a real pain. Solo him if you are specced for it. If you get the mana advantage in a long fight you can be more aggressive with the paladin. Never leave your warrior alone without hotting him first!

This may work sub 2k or something, but a warlock's DoTs combined with the pally's annoying damage is enough to keep your druid from doing much other than drinking.

killing a felhound is really easy if you chain taunt it out of LoS, but the voidwalker is a whole 'nother issue.

any smart warlock will be calling his pet back early so it won't die.

this is no "simple" matchup against a smart team

I agree with Guntt. Althought the TS original strategy is mostly correct, its not as simple as it sounds.

Killing the first fel hunter should not be much of a problem if you time your switch correctly.

When he pulls out the voidwalker, this is when the real battle begins.

Do your best to hamstring the Voidwalker, and focus on the warlock. Stack sunder armors on him, and pummel only his shadow spells, particularly fears. Do not pummel immolates or incenerates.

Druid: Avoid JoJ at all costs, if the warlock gets BoP, cyclone him.

I've fought this comp with ease many times, I don't see JoJ as being a huge theat as it makes you immune to fear and deathcoil, you really don't need a lot of speed in this fight as there's no physical threat to a druid,

as for "good warlocks recall pets" good druids root the pet behind a pill for the kill, CCing the pally and lock is really easy. starlight wrath talents are really nice for a druid to solo a pet as well.

This fight is faerly easy for us as a druid warrior mainly because killing felhound wont be a problem but VW is.
So what we do is i will put hots on my warrior go los the pally and lok dps the VW to 50% health and root the VW so lok cant call it back ill have warrior intercept and kill it if the warrior cannot kill VW just stick on Warlock and cc paladin.
If in blades edge and the paladin is stupid and jumped off to heal pet i will cyclone pet and feral charge and bash on pally so he cant get back to warlock if he does get back most likly bop will be on the lok so cyclone the warlock after bop it should be easy to kill the warlock.

actually paladin heals are more efficient especially with BoL which a druid cannot despel and a warlock can actually a well played warlock can out damage a warior pretty easy if nothing can despell dots. I really wish we face this combo more often as 90% of teams let their calss carry them and get rocked first 2 minutes. Damn priest rogue though >.<

Let me just say Warrior/Druid is one of the counter comps to Pally/Warlock. We can beat it on the rare occasion, but a good team can just eat us. Warrior just has to get on the lock and go to town while the druid does his cyclone routine, then warrior switches to pet, goes for the kill (which is really easy for them) and repeat. As a holy pally, I have a hard time keeping my lock up with all the cc to me. Kill the pet twice and it's gg.
