| i will tell you something that will make your entire life easier.. stand in bear form RIGHT on top of the hunter. hamstring him when its close to wearing off and feral charge/intercept if he starts to get away. VERY easy combo for you. not sure how you find this difficult. | |

| This fight is bad. Not quite as bad as a pro Druid/Hunter team though. Atleast I have control of my character during most of this fight, as opposed to cyclone x3 / roots / scatter / trap. Light up the priest as best as you can, keep the hunter's pet hamstrung. If your druid is good, he will jump off the bridge (in blades edge) while the pet is hamstrung, forcing it to run all the way around at 50% speed. Your druid should take the hunter pet somewhere, and DPS it to 70% or so, the warrior needs to build a full rage bar, and then blow all coldowns, and quickly switch to the pet. Do everything in your power to lock down the priest, pummel a heal before the switch, then cyclone him, then if he trinkets, pop your aoe fear. Once the pet is dead, put all pressure on the hunter, so he cant resummon. Sunder him up (It helps a lot), and wear him down. Your druid should now be free to run and drink since there is no more pet. Its now the druids job to keep the priest in combat as best as he can, and to eat the traps for the warrior when possible. If the hunter tries to resummon his pet, and the warrior cant pummel - the druid needs to cyclone the hunter. Also a pro tip for when the pet is alive, since most good hunters use a scorpion pet - the warrior should taunt the pet onto him to try and get the poison. Druids: DO NOT dispel the poison effect. Also - warriors, picking up the shadowsight DoT in this fight is a good idea. The damage breaks hunter trap. | |

| "This fight will make you want to throw your keyboard out the window." This. Lost 2 in a row to this set-up. Druid (not really well geared, but decent enough - 300ish resil) was OOM within 5 seconds. Only advice I would stay would be to try to put them on the defensive with burst. Tough if they are well geared. | |

| "Druid was OOM within 5 seconds." I was wondering, if the Hunter Poison still tics of the druids mana, if he's in bear form. Mana Burn obviously does not work on a bear, so why not try to stay out of LOS of the Priest, dispel the hunters poison and that way avoid going OOM ? "Also a pro tip for when the pet is alive, since most good hunters use a scorpion pet - the warrior should taunt the pet onto him to try and get the poison. Druids: DO NOT dispel the poison effect." Why would I want the scorpions poison on me? Is that an effect that can only be applied to one target? Will the pet keep on attacking me even after taunt has run out (in case the hunter iss too busy or noob, to retarget the druid) | |

| Rofl at that Zurnak. The whole point of getting poison on your Warrior is to stop him getting stuck up in chain traps. Though, the added bonus of having a pet on you leaves the Druid free to drink for a while. | |

| I'm the Priest in a Priest/Hunter combo. We basically tack on a win every time we face Druid/Warrior. Even the rediculously geared Druid/Warrior teams are pretty simple for us. Vast majority of the time the Hunter is MM in this combo because of the insane CC they provide. IE Silence, Scatter Shot, etc. I just have the Hunter go after the Druid. The Warrior always attacks me even though he should be on the Hunter, although at which point I just MC the Warrior. But to be frank, the Warrior should be on the Hunter, that's all there is to it. The Hunter is looking to Scatter Shot/Trap the Druid. The pet is great in that it keeps the Druid from ever drinking as long as it's alive. The Hunter Scare Beast the Druid any time he's in Bear, lots of time to kill Warrior. And if he's in travel, LOL owned Druid. If he's in caster, Silence, Viper Sting, Mana Burn, etc. He's feared for 20sec, Viper Sting, and Mana Burned. If he's in caster then Mana Burned. Just to give you an idea of how we think. | |

| 2Maraiah: there is absolutely no need to put the Warrior on hunter as he ends up trapped fast, and the proper druid will LoS the manaburns and avoid getting caught by scare beast. Stay as much as possible in bear form, popping out only to heal (when Viper Sting ends and out of hunter's LoS), eat traps and avoid getting close to priest, however eating a fear in bear form is ok as long as both you and warrior are not low on health. Keeping the priest hamstrung and killing the pet by any means possible is the way to win. Tough fight all-in-all if they play properly, and no pillar to hump around, but much easier compared to druid-hunter combo. | |

| We just beat this team and the priest was a gladiator, they both were very skilled. The game took 16 minutes and heres what we did: Warrior starts off on pet which is most likely a scorpid. make sure when you can, slow priest down so he doesnt get to fear druid whenever he can. the priest if smart should heal the pet which i waited til the priest used pain suppres/mana fiend in order to keep the pet alive. while this is happening, druid needs to try and eat as many traps as he can. this team waited to scatter/trap the warrior when the druid was priest feared but with the priest slowed and the pet taking so much damage, they needed to try and trap me whenever they could. warrior also needs to try and pummel any scare beasts he can because the druid will be staying in bear form for most of this fight. when killing the scorpid/pet, both priest and hunter will try and drink so it is neccesarry to keep them in combat. once pet is dead and hunter is oom aswell as priest, switch to priest. dont worry about hunter reviving his pet, because that will take all the mana he has. priest will eventually die. even when pet is dying the priest will try and drink after he puts shield/renew on pet. hunter needs to help keep them both in combat. also warrior may not always get a pummel on scare beast so druid needs to pop out of bear. if priest isnt oom when pet is dead stick on hunter until he is oom. | |

| Seriously, if you ever lose to hunter/priest as druid warrior you should probably just quit. Warrior rides the hunter the entire time. Druid IS and MF the pet out of LoS until the pet gets low, cyclone priest/ warrior finishes pet, then continues to ride hunter. Now as long as your druid isn't brain dead and just LoSes the hunter the warrior will be taking next to no damage. That hunter has no way to get a hunter off of him if hes marks and without a druid partner. Even if he does get trapped, the hunter will get 2 attacks off maybe, before you just intercept him again and are on his ass for another 20+ seconds. This means that the warrior is in no danger of dieing unless the priest is dpsing him, which in that case probably means the warrior wont be getting trapped. Priest eventually goes oom from constantly having to heal hunter while druid barely has to heal warrior. Druid/war wins. | |

| Haha quit as in don't bother playing out the match. It's as simple as freeze trapping the Warrior whenever it's up, trinket hamstring and get the fuck out after the Druid. We almost lost to a decked out S4 Druid/Warrior in Blade's Edge the other day for the first time when the Druid would keep me CC'd whenever I went below 50% to give the Warrior a prayer of getting some lucky crits on me and killing me. They went after our pet and killed it several times but my Hunter would simply bring it back every time. Against a good Hunter/Priest you will not win period unless you vastly out-gear. On top of all that, the Druid was NE so I had to constantly worry about him being dotted so he doesn't shadowmeld/drink. We got like 18 points. And if it's anywhere but Blade's Edge you have literally zero chance of winning against a good Hunter/Priest. And we never ever attack the Warrior outside of bringing the Druid out of hiding in the beginning until the Druid is dead. The plain fact is the Warrior is mostly a non-factor the entire fight, with me bubbling everything he hits and constantly getting frozen he has problems doing DPS with all that rage mitigation. | |

| The reason for why most druid warrior teams lose to hunter priest is because a good hunter priest team will fear druid and then trp warrior so druid cant eat trp up. | |
| Aug 25, 2008 - 1:00 PM (HideShow) | |
| ok, i played a hour long match against this team and the only chance you have is for you to build up rage on the hunter, then the druid CC the priest and hope for a gib on the pet. Stay on the hunter and the druid should eat traps in bear. Bear is your BEST friend in this fight since u cant get mana burned or viper stinged. Once you get the priest oom after he used shadow fiend gib him, the druid should help by standing on top of the warrior to eat more traps and feral charge/bash priest. If your warrior or you need a healer run behind a pillar and heal up. NEVER stay out in the open against this team, priest will run and fear + mana burn with viper sting will run your druid from 90%-40% mana maybe less | |

| i played against this team as a druid/war and they out geared us by a severe amount but we beat them 3 times in a row i didn't kill pet i actually left it alone and i eat all traps full duration UNTIL priest was below 30% hp trinket trap and just continue to go balls out on it but this team dropped me pretty low MANY times that druid had to NS heal me within first minute but that was it full s4 hunt/priest i cant say its the best way to kill the team but even in blades were our we matched them twice stay on bottom floor make them come down once one jumps down preferably hunter jump him till he los's priest forcing it to go down once priest tryed running back up top i let him ( while druid was on priest also) MC me off bridge getting back onto hunter down below CCing up priest to change up the DR on the hunter and again i ignored the pet but once priest came back down to heal hunter he was still below 50% as hunter was 35%+ but low. Got back to priest and cyclone hunter as he was about to finish a greaterheal and waited to pummel when cyclone was on DR finishing the priest That is how we owned them in blades edge | |
