Druid/Rogue

VS.

Druid/Hunter

Stay as offensive as possible. Have the Druid stay in Bear form 90% of the time putting pressure on the Hunter while the Rogue attacks him as well. The Druid should eat all of the traps he tries to put down. When you have the opportunity to kill him have your Rogue Blind the Druid or Cyclone him and lay on the DPS through Wrath and Moonfire spam.

It is important put as much pressure on them as much as possible. If you don't they will be able to drain the Druid down over time due to the pet and Viper Sting.

If the Hunter is not specced for Improve Revive Pet then killing the pet is a possibility, which will give you the advantage. Just make sure the Druid is watching fo itr when the Rogue gets CC'd, so he can stop the Revive Pet.

Alternate Strategy:
Have the Rogue stay on the Druid the entire time. The Druid should be offensive and take all the traps. Most likely the Rogue will be Scatter Shotted and pushed through Frost Traps, so Shadowstep really helps. If the Druid stays in Bear Form the whole match the Viper Stings will no drain, and also helps to mitigate the damage of the Hunter. Just watch out for Scare Beast! With help from the Druid CC, you have a chance to take him down before the Hunter takes away all your mana and then you and your partner.

Quite simple match if the Druid is Boomkin, no way in hell a Hunter can oom a Moonkin druid with a rogue on him, because of several reasons.
To oom a Druid the Hunter needs to always keep preasure at the enemy druid so he can't just kite around in bear form and regen mana, this will happen a lot because of rogue stuns, and kiting a shadowstep rogue just doesn't work. Abolish really helps me but I'm still having problems ooming their druid. But the thing that really kill us here is the fact that Boomkin druids got insane mana regen, and whenever rogue is stunning me, the boomkin is just taking my pet behind a pillar and and getting around 400 mana each hit he does on the pet. This will make the ooming go EXTREMELY slow, prob the mana won't go down at all, and well innervate doesn't really make this any better... Another thing is the fact that I can't just burst kill a rogue since he's on my ass the whole time, and evasion, sprint, vanish, blind, cheat death... In other words, I cannot oom the Druid if he's boomkin, and I can't kill the rogue if he's shadowstep, the match will prob last for a long time since Druid Rogue can't just burst down something right away, but in a long match (like 1H) there will be several times where Druid and Rogue can just coordinate their DPS and CC and will be able to kill the Hunter.

What is your Druid doing the whole time that you are supposedly unable to kite the Rogue?

If the rogues druid is oomkin then the hunters druid would have to be trying to keep the pet up while CCing the rogue for the hunter, plus healing the hunter all at the same time. Lets not forget abolish too. Its quite easy for the oomkin to root the pet behind a pillar and kill it in that time period if it isnt healed up. The real weakness of this matchup really is the hunters pet. They cant really win without it, the main thing you should exploit against druids with a parter that has a pet is apply even pressure constantly, you will eventually kill something. Example against druid lock, you can stay on the lock most of the time, have your druid kite the pet off and its a matter of a quick switch when u have the warlock kinda low, because the pet will be low as well due to SL.

you'll put enormeous pressure on the other druid by starting off and sapping the hunter and then kill the pet first. keeping a pet alive with ~6k hp without resil and not that much armor is hard - requires a lot of mana. also that way the pet would be passive and that alows you to drink through the hunters damage on the pet.

afterwards you should switch targets to get the druid oom and then go for a keel.

help your rogue keeping the druid in combat by faerie fire him.

This comp is beyond annoying. Heres what works for us at the 2.2k+ level...Forget killing the pet, it's usually a waste of time with the more skilled Hunter/Druid teams. What we found worked best was the following: I am 34/0/27 Dreamstate and my Rogue is the usual ShadowStep build. We lost to Hunter/Druid for a while but we figured out that a simple switching of targets can win you the game. It works even if you are way down in the mana battle, because I was at 30% mana (no innervate in the near future, I almost had given up) with the enemy druid at practically full and we pulled a win straight out of our asses. Heres the deal: Stick your Rogue on the Hunter blowing his face off, Shadowstepping when rooted or Entrapped from the frost trap they will lay down. All the while the druid is running around like a chicken with his head cut off in bear form chasing the druid. This prevents the druid from drinking all too often and the hunter is kept in combat with constant pressure on him. Every now and then (or when you see a Viper Sting expire) shift out pop some blooms and rejuvs on both of you and boom right back into bear. It should work fairly easily until the Hunters mana pool is depleted. Once the Hunter goes OOM, now its time to win. Switch targets! Have the druid chase around the oom hunter and have your rogue go get on the druid. Usually the rogue will be able to down the druid and win the match. Druids panic with rogues on them.

Voila!

Now, if they are the type of team that lays down the freezing trap that CC's you for 12 seconds, you should be able to win with ur druid constantly on top of the hunter. But most teams I've seen don't play that way.

Anyways, just an alternative route that worked for us...we pulled a win completely out of our asses with such low mana for me. Send hunter/druid back to the 1900s!

Get the pet behind a pillar and both go full burst mode on it (works best with Dreamstate or IS builds). Without the pet, this team is very easy, since either the Hunter or the Druid will have to stay on you to keep you from drinking, which allows your Rogue to go to town on them. (Otherwise you can simply outlast them).

Even if the Hunter as Imp. Revive Pet, it's still a fairly expensive 4 second cast that leaves the pet at low health. Interrupt it if you can, or just watch for it and switch immediately to the pet when it gets revived for another quick takedown. An OOM Hunter is almost as useless as an OOM caster.

"this setup is easy but if u met priest hunter ... is harder"

yea....in the 1500's its easy where you're probally at......but when you get into 1900-2000's it is the most annoying team in the world, i wanted to rip my hair out cause of that bullshit........

Priest/hunter, is probally the easiest combo for druid/rogue.........its an instant win
