Druid/Hunter

VS.

Shadow Priest/Warlock

A game of pillar hugging. Immediately when the game starts, rush a pillar and drop a Frost Trap against it. When they approach you, Viper Sting the Shadow Priest and continue to do so every 15 seconds. I prefer to damage the Shadow Priest over the Warlock if I have a choice, but generally, just hit whichever one you can when you are in Line of Sight of that one and not the other one. Shortly after the game starts, the Priest should be OOM, and low on health from you picking away at him.

It is crucial that you do not get feared out into the open, or you will die. If you get AoE feared, trinket it and get back onto the pillar. I place my pet on the Shadow Priest for additional damage, but if one of them goes to drink put it on that one.

If they go on your Druid, interrupt the Warlock's casts with Scatter Shot, and Silencing Shot the Shadow Priest while you DPS him as hard as you can. Don't get CC'ed, and don't leave your Druid alone.

On Lordaeron, I suggest that you do not go on top of the pillar, because you can LoS your Druids heals very easily. Also, never go into the cubby, wait for them to come to you.

I'm having trouble with this combo. And i need some advice on what to do if they kill ur pet, then the shadow priest goes off and drinks? and if u go out there to viper sting sting him then u get fear spamed?

when i read that its like peace of cake but its one of the hardest combo ..
how u cant be feared when they both have more then 3 fears
how can u drain the priest when is using vampire touch and gives mana back to both
and how can u save ure pet when its has 4-5 dots ?

I understand that this match up is mostly about LoSing if not entirely, however the idea of just popping out and taking them down little by little doesn't work because of death coil. If they get a luck death coil on either druid or hunter then fear locked after even allowing for your trinket there is plenty of time for them to do enough damage to end the game. It is a difficult fight because of your the hunter's pet being killed also. The use of snake traps and frost traps also help (obviously) but can anyone help me as to which one they prefer more?

Don't waste mana healing the pet, keep viper sting up at all times, interrupt fears on warlock, and end the game quickly.

If the pet does die though, and the spriest goes oom have your hunter follow him while your druid is very careful on the warlock with feral charging fears/bashes and LoSing.

Hehe me and my warlock friend used to have a 1800 rating it may not seem like alot but we always came across Druid hunter combo's. The thing my team used to do would get ur druid and down him we could down them in secounds if we got hold of them, what the huntards need to do to stop this is always have ur pet on SP and make sure Scorpid sting is al ways on priest... cause we burn anough mana as it is. then just keep atacking the priest making him use mana on his shield and on heals. When the priest is out of mana just kill him as fast as u can and druid can come out and moonfire as well. MAKE sure u do not gt feared or we will kill u with ease i no it sounds hard but LoS is ur friend use snake trap alot to stop casting.
