This combo has to play very offensively to be truly effective. They have the potential to put out lots of burst damage, a Priest can spam Dispel your heals if you, your Druid, or your pet get low.

The hardest part about this combo is you can't really freeze or root the Warrior or the Priest. A Priest dispel's 2 magic debuffs, so it is possible to temporarily freeze or root somebody if they have Hunter's Mark and Faerie Fire up, but it will only take another global to remove it. So use a Frost Trap and focus on healing and keeping the Warrior and Priest slowed.

Your only method of getting freedom from that Warrior's grasp if he's on you is Cyclone, you have 2 effective Cyclones that can be cast before it becomes worthless. That buys you roughly 10 seconds, then it'll be on DR for 8 seconds, Intercept is on a 15 second cooldown, so that Warrior is going to have a nice chunk of face time.

Your goal should be to keep Viper's up on that Priest, and to take as little damage as possible, your Druid will not get a lot of drink time. When the time is right, concentrate your damage on that Priest and finish the game.

Another important aspect of this combination is they have Mana Burn and you better believe they will use it. It's crucial that you have the Priest as your focus and you are paying close attention to his casts using Silencing Shot for this is crucial, because any Mana Burns on your Druid can easily cost the loss. Since Freeze Trap and Roots aren't going to be effective that Warrior will be doing more damage to you so in essence you'll be taking a lot more damage.

Sitting out in the open popping a few autoshots while the Priest just spams mana burn on you is going to cost the game as well.

The strategy of GOOD Priest/Warrior teams is for the Priest to LOS you until he gets a Viper, he then knows he has 15 seconds of Freedom to cast Mana Burn openly on you and your partner. He's already going to lose mana via the Viper Sting, he can't LOS the sting already on him so he knows he has the power to Mana Burn while that Warrior is doing everything in his power to Hamstring you, Mace Stun your Druid, etc. to get those burns off in that time. What separates a good Hunter/Druid from a bad one is the ability to stop this from happening by knowing how to use Line of Sight, Silence, Scatter Shot, Feral Charge, Bash, and Cyclone.

Just went 1-3 with this team. The warrior was a baller with hamstrings and when I actually managed to get to the pillar humping priest, I was feared.

My druid and I had np with this combo even on Nagrand Arena, which i think is the only place they even have a chance of beating us, because the fight was 20 minutes since the priest was a pro pillar humper, but the game always turned out in our favor and we won.

So what is it that can make the warrior immune to cc? Me and my druid ended up losing to this combo after some clutch cc's were immune/dispelled..we tried cyclone, root, scatter/trap..all one after another..to no avail. This was of course to get the rng'ing warrior off my wounded druid..who he promptly ended up finishing off. I was baffled as to why all the cc fails...(Note..this was our first time facing this combo as well)

well not for anything but it should be easy/medium although it can get really anoying, drain priest ofc, try to cc the warr as much as possible and time it so ur druid can drink. and make the priest dispell as much as possible = shes getting drained. i dont know how u can fail at this combo, the hunter gets full mana bured and then they almost "forget" to mana burn the hunter and then ur playing aggresive (as much as u can with 0-1k mana :> ) and then u just gotta time charge + aimed to make the priest heal more.
