| The warriors I have fought always seem to have great luck with procs. If a warrior does get on my druid do you have any tips for him on how to get away? A couple of times we have been ahead on mana with pressure then crit crit mace stun and one of us is dead, game over. | |

| We use this strat also and probably have about a 75% win chance. The only problem i have found is if the warrior tends to stick to my rogue like glue, No matter how much i root/cyclone my rogue can't catch the druid due to spamstring lasting so long and not being dispellable. | |

| Moonkin form is your friend in this fight. Use it liberally when the Warrior is on you, and CC him from it. You have Bear armor and can swing for mana, and can also simply start casting a Cyclone, eat a pummel, then recast. There is a 4 second delay between his pummel cooldown and the lockout effect, so that is your window. | |

| I have played alot with a warrior, and a good dreamstate druid/rogue can be a really tough matchup. What I would do as the druid, is cc the warrior liberally, obviously, when dr's are up on the warrior, root the druid in bear form ( this way if he wants to break free he needs to jump out of bear and then eat a 5 second kidney shot).... evrytime you get roots on the warrior, the druid should dps the warrior, while the rogue is on the druid, this way the druid needs to heal both himself andd the warrior, with your rogue ripping his face apart. when the druid pops out to heal himself or his warrior, cyclone the warrior and start wrathing/mf/swarm the druid..... the druid will blow through so much mana if you can do this it's amazing. me and my warrior got destroyed by a dreamstate / rogue using this strat. | |

| I haven't played this setup for all too long yet but I find that when I DPS the warrior while he's rooted and DPSing the Druid while the Warrior's Cycloned working very effectively. Not CCing the Druid at all but pressuring him to have to come out of bear healing the warrior more often thus making him vulnerable to my Rogue. Especially if the Warrior is persistant on targeting me this tactic seems to work very well, I can kite the Warrior around corners and away from the Druid most of the time making it even harder for him to reach the Warrior to heal him. This ofcourse limits your DPS on the Druid, but it still seems to work better since the Warrior will be doing neglectable damage to you. This seems to be pretty close to Mannimal's tactic, anyway. | |

| We also had major problems vs this at the start, druid pillar running me and war slowly killing us... But we found out a great tactic that hasn't failed since then : 90% of the time the warrior runs in on a mount, you use PREM when war is close or running to you, then use sap > garrote > hemo/ghostly for 5 CP > rupture ( use evasion also ) You druid jumps out stealth and starts doing DMG the second you used garrote. Around 50% the other druid shows up > Shadowstep him Let your druid cyclone the warrior and start the cyclone / root cycle and go for there druid Few things sofar : Do : Prem > Sap > Garrote in this order, dont sap then prem since you lose 1-2 sec and war might get you DMG him together Don't : Use sprint / shadowstep on the warrior, even if it's a human use a LoS object on his perception and sap > garrote him. You need to shadowstep the druid and put a few CP's on him for the kidney in caster and a sprint for the druid is so nice to have. Never use kidney on the warrior, you want to drop his HP fast to bring out the druid and stunning him makes him heal a bit, but more important you lose kidney for the druid were you need it ! After this train the druid, if he gets away just cyclone him, regen energie and tell your druid to stop cyclone when you can go on the druid or let him cyclone 2nd time if you can restealth / stun him after that. If it's a Nelf druid that gets away and drinks in a hiddenspot, just switch to the warrior till you can shadowstep the druid again. Don't dps the warrior if you can dps the druid, even if you walk with a hamstring towards him. Safe blind for when the warrior goes crazy on 1 of you and it's the last option or better use it on the druid to get a kidney in when he is just infront of you on low hp and you can finish him in the stun or when you can buy a restealth without the warrior interfering Hope this helped a bit | |

| basically, damage one target aggressively to start, cyclone to prevent healing, damage other target, switch frequently, and consider splitting DPS (rogue on druid, druid on warrior) if you can get momentum at the start by damaging either the druid or warrior, and then cycloning them, you can usually carry through with a win we've gotten the warrior to 40% when the druid came out, so we cycloned the warrior and got on the druid, then cycloning the druid, back on the warrior, etc... they can usually stay up for a while, but we can often drop the druid in a KS | |

| Warrior with S4 mace + fucking lucky RNG = Impossible match up. Sad but true. It's shit like Mace specialization that make WoW pvp a bit of a joke, too much RNG involved. | |

| On my rogue me and my druid went up against a human warrior and a druid, the warrior would always start in zerker so i can't sap him, he also pops perc. when he gets close to our starting area. what we tried is the druid opens on the warrior using pounce, then wrath, moonfire insect swarm.. then i would wait fro the druid to pop and start on him with a prem-cs. however, the warrior will stay on me 100% of the game and we lost 3/4 games playing them. it's a hard team if the warrior knows what he's doing and gets some lucky procs (lolrnglol) and it's even harder if he's human. but other than this team we raped every other wd team | |

| PvE gear is ur best friend, both for the rogue and the druid | |

| What do we do if they play really defensively? It's hard for my rogue to pressure their druid if the druid feral charges me, and the warrior intercepts my rogue. Then, if they can't do that, the druid just runs past his warrior in bear form and my rogue gets hamstrung/imp hamstrung/ mace stunned. It seems so easy for them to peel the rogue and run off and drink constantly. | |

| I personally feel this comes down to one thing. Whether or not you can find the druid at the very beginning of the game. One of 2 things will probably happen. 1.Druid identifies his 2 opponents are stealth and therefore goes bear right away in case its 2 rogues. 2.The druid stays stealth and my rogue finds there druid in cat and we immediately open up on the druid forcing him to blow his trinkit/NS and to OOM him faster. This way the next time the rogue has a 5 point KS saved up we can go to town on him w/o the use of those CD's while I cc the warrior. | |

| This comp seems like the only and true counter. At 2200rating we cant beat this setup, doesnt matter how well we CC and nuke. DW are eating DSD, Rogue alive if they know how to play. | |
| Aug 29, 2008 - 4:05 PM (HideShow) | |
| Simple. (Find) the druid and force him to come out. ShS him, or get to him and DPS him. Force his Trinket and NS. Once the two are gone, 5 CP KS him, turn onto the warrior nuke the shit out of him, blind the druid with 1-2 seconds left on KS, and keep nuking. Have druid DPS with starfire spam and as much damage as he can do possible. Buddhists druid lewtz does 1 second 5k starfire crits. | |

| Obviously you guys are fighting really scrub warrior/druids. Any half decent warr/druid will have the warrior on your rogue with druid taking rogue around a pillar so warrior is out of other druids LoS. rogue will be walking around at 50% druid will be bear/travel and the the rogues druid will be running around like a idiot trying to CC. If druid does happen to be in LoS and start a CC on warrior he can reflect it or his druid can charge and bash it. easy win for warrior/druid. | |
| Danielsnag | Aug 30, 2008 - 1:31 PM (HideShow) |
| Btw Gladiator i doubt he can do 1 second starfires lol.... | |
| Sep 2, 2008 - 7:23 PM (HideShow) | |
| Seriously, a good warrior who can intercept your druids CC/spellreflect, intervene the other druid and help him in hard situations shouldn't lose against you | |
| Sep 4, 2008 - 10:19 PM (HideShow) | |
| I guess this is somewhat comforting that we aren't complete idiots (on my druid/rogue team) for having an extremely tough time with this team. As noted above, cc'ing the warrior is tough when warrior->my rogue->druid are all going in circles around the pillar. And as noted, the druid can fc, my rogue ss, then warrior intercepts, and their druid is on his merry way while I need to constant keep up my rogue who is not dodging any of the warrior attacks. It seems if we are unable to get a really good jump, or catch the warrior in a really bad position while we burst the druid down (ie root him far while his druid is at 60% health, FC, Bash, then warrior blinded, and finish off druid). But if warrior stays on my rogue, and gets a lifebloom here or there, thats more than enuf dmg/cc I can do while they pillar kite me hitting my rogue. Any advice against warrior teams that just sit on your rogue? | |

| We had very bad time against this combo. "fkuc imp hamstiring proc" "fkuc mace stun and druid is 5% hp in kidney shot" "fkuc natura graps with lowhp druid". 2-1 for druid warr team. first time we beaten them, way like druid had 0 healing done, died so fast, but second two match was like 4-5 times when druid was under 5% hp and regenerated up to 100% because of macestun hamstiring intercept fear. Very very annoying combo. | |

| Its really not as hard as people make it out to be. The druid comes out and 1v1s the warrior in moonkin form with DoT's and such while your rogue stays stealth. Their druid will have to come out first unless your druid is terrible and can't 1v1 a warrior in moonkin form. Since their druid has to pop out to heal the rogue can ALWAYS get a free caster form CS-->KS. That pretty much sets the pace of the fight. As your rogue opens you put out alot of dmg right then and it will force the druid to use his cooldowns off the bat. If the druid does happen to get away from your rogue with a lolmacestun or intercept just cyclone him, root the warrior and your rogue will get there. This is really not that hard of a fight. | |
