General Information

I wrote this guide in order to give tips to people who want to try out Dreamstate Druid/Rogue, or to those, who want to get further with this comp.

First up, the major difference between a Druid/Rogue, with a Druid in a standard x/11/x spec is that with Dreamstate, your Druid has a lot more options for dealing damage, higher Mana regeneration, and can play very aggressively when needed.

If you want to play this combination you should have good gear, otherwise your Druid will lack in Healing/Damage.

Dreamstate Druid/Rogue is extremely FUN and requires finesse and skill. Your Druid has got to do something ALL the time whether he's CC'ing, dealing damage, or healing; he has something to do all the time. Its really fun.

Important: The tactics are written from the Druid's point of view.

Builds

Druid

Your Druid, as the name says, has to spec Dreamstate. You can find the talent guide in the Druid Talent Section.

Rogue

I would suggest to use a standard Shadow Step spec. I do not play a Rogue so I would prefer a Rogue to write some hints on their talent spec.

Nice guide, exept that I don't agree on the view of your double dps matchups. Mage/rogue is the easiest you can get, and warlock/rogue easily the hardest.
TrazzMay 8, 2008 - 4:51 AM (HideShow)
Care to elaborate on what strats you use? I find that if the mage manages to put out a shatter combo, its really hard to heal myself back up.
ZandireMay 8, 2008 - 5:14 AM (HideShow)
With any idea about LOS, the mage will have alot harder time pulling out a shatter combo than a warlock has with fear.
BiegeMay 8, 2008 - 7:40 AM (HideShow)
The problem a warlock has with LoS is escaping your ally. Other than fear, which can be WoTF, CloS, kicked, trinketed out of, they have not a great chance to chase you down with a Rogue's crippling poison. Mages with frost nova, blink, sheep, and iceblock to remove snares will have a much easier time to escape your ally and set you up for a shatter combo. On the whole, I don't understand how a mage's shatter combo is easier to LoS than a warlock's fear.
TrunarMay 8, 2008 - 9:12 AM (HideShow)
I whould like som matchups against other druid/rogue teams .. els it seems nice .. i whould try dream state once again .. Last time i dindt go that good .. im normaly 11/11/39 .. so i think what went wrong was that i was to defensiv ..
KarnxyMay 8, 2008 - 10:21 AM (HideShow)
I feel like the whole guide is wrong-wrong-wrong.

1. Paladin/warrior isnt your hardcounter, infact that's an easy game with proper drinking and using that mana to be 100% offensive.

2. Dubble dps is your real counter, and spriest/rogue, mage/rogue and warlock/rogue can be quite hard if they know what they are doing, it's far from a free win. Especially if your rogue isnt undead.
ZandireMay 8, 2008 - 12:28 PM (HideShow)
Karnxy knows what's it about.

Biege: Then you learn to fakecast/CC right with warlock/rogue. The match is basically lost if the warlockm8:s rogue gets caught, but if he doesn't, they do not have a single problem killing a dreamstate druid.
AnoraMay 8, 2008 - 2:09 PM (HideShow)
We really have problems vs dbl dps rogue/x since i dont have a human partner (dwarf).
Your tactic vs Rogue/Mage is only for druids with human rogues since it all depends on the sap on the enemy rogue.
If anyone has some alternative tactics for rogue/x dbl dps well it would be nice to post em here :)
MithosMay 8, 2008 - 2:32 PM (HideShow)
Hi, thanks for the all your replies.

Trunar : Mirror matches, i will try to include some tactics later, but basically it`s
like this: If the other rogue is multilate -> focus the rogue (no cheat death, possibilty to nuke him off, with well-timed cc ; additionaly this rogue can`t do as much sustained dmg as a shadowstep can). Against ShSrogue/druid, we try to focus the druid, "as far as possible", basically it turn`s out to be a mana fight this way. Dreamstate should win =)

Zandire : There is just one general idea concerning Mage/rogue and wl/rogue and their difficulty. A warlock (while being zerged by your rogue) has close to none chances to get on you, as a druid, especially if you are pillar kiting. On the other side, a mage that knows how to play will hardly be rushed down as easy as a warlock. The mage can blink, use his shields and he will normally, if the rogue assists his mage, get out an sheep out on your rogue MUCH easilier than a warlock can get out a fear (i hope that`s clear !?)... And that`s what it is all about. Their CC on your rogue. Once your rogue is sheeped or , let`s turn it the other way, feared, and your enemy knows how to control the rogue from that point out (which shouldn`t be too hard for them if they are good.) You have basically lost. From my point of view the "control" on your rogue is much better from the mage/rogues perspective. Additonaly, a mage/rogue team has LOTS of more "real" burst against a dreamstate druid than a warlock/rogue has.
I don`t want to tell you that a WL/rogue on your druid means they can`t get you down. But they can`t do as easily as mage/rogue team, with a proper timed kidney shot.
And it`s all about burst. As a dreamstate druid you just have one instant heal. If that one is gone, burst can nuke you off, and your hots CANNOT do anything against that. In Contrary, the Warlock of the other team has it`s dots and he should only get out his instant shadowbolts on you. That mean`s less dmg, and dots, which can EASILY be healed against , once you have all hots o
MithosMay 8, 2008 - 7:23 PM (HideShow)
*on you, and you have already survived the first burst phase of the warlock/rogue team,
you shouldn`t be in trouble anymore, if you keep on pillar kiting.

Karnxy : I know there are several people who think that "warrior/paladin" is not a counter to rogue/druid. However i had worse experience with this team. You can`t cc their warrior effectively, you can`t get the paladin oom before you get. A warrior who is zerging your rogue, and you can`t really do something... That`s bad. But what is even worse than a warrior on your rogue? a warrior on your rogue for a long time. Therefore, if you can`t own them due to pressure, you will lose... And to win by pressure is hardly possible everytime.
We often "easily" manage to get the paladin into his bubble the first try, but we often have problems getting him down the second time.

But i am happy that people want to discuss here. Much replies are always good. Keep on discussing.
Btw karnxy, you can also write one tactic against paladin/warrior in here (an explicit one) and i hope it can get added 2 ! :)

AnoraMay 8, 2008 - 8:30 PM (HideShow)
imo the key to win is to play really offensive with pressure on the warri and aggresive cyclones with target switch to the pala.I would start with a sap on the pala and then start asap on the warri and get him defensive with both of you nukin him. Cyclone warri when sap fades and switch to the pala. Keep switchin cyclones/dps and the warri or pala will go down. If they are behind in healing they wont go for your druid cause that will easily get the warrior killed if he gets tanked by a moonkin behind a pillar.
THats what worked for us but your druid has to watch out for the pala since a hoj + judgement in caster while a warrior is on you can get really nasty
TrunarMay 8, 2008 - 10:32 PM (HideShow)
Okay .. The thing is I'm Not that sure about your tacs on MM ... Since me and my rogue(Who is fare from geared like others in our BG) Win against all rogue druid teams we have played against, and one time it was a Dream state druid .. and we beated them 3 times in a row so easy .. and we are undergeared in compare to other teams we go against since we got a late start in the season .. But we always seam to win .. "And if the other rogue is mutilate you will have a hard time on poisons and he can burst quit hard .. ofc we can also do that but the other druid are gonna have a much easyer time outhealing it .. and im gonna have to heal quite hard to heal through poisons ? Since mutilate can hurt kinda much if he plays prober ?
FactionzMay 8, 2008 - 10:34 PM (HideShow)
Disc priest/Rogue with rogue in tier 6 thats playing very defensively anyone? (ie, they're on me (rogue) and they fear me, gouge me, and generally just cc me and its like a stalemate.
MithosMay 9, 2008 - 10:33 AM (HideShow)
Trunar : As you said, you had no trouble against a dreamstate/druid team. Afaik this doesn´t mean rogue/druid should beat dreamstate/rogue.Of all games we had against rogue/druid, we have played 14-4 against rogue druid. Those games we lost were because the enemys rogue had t6 (had 2-3 against this team) and both glaives.

You are pointing out that "standardspec"-druids have it much easier healing their rogue against the other rogue. In fact this is only true, if the dreamstate druid doesn`t know how to play. The only thing we really miss in such a fight is swiftmend. but our mana regeneration is that much bigger.Normally, if their rogue hasn`t t6 and gets out roflolz 2k hemos, 2.2k multilates on my rogue, ALL the time, we havn`t got so much problems against them. Basically, BURST is all that can make you loose, normally.
Dreamstate needs lots of experiences, especially if your druid isn`t used to hit. I`ve experienced that before. It was like "ahhh my rogue is dying, SWIFTMEND" "uff what the fuck no swiftmend". But one can EASILY avoid that when just timing your hots better, and if your rogue can adapt to situations (in fact he says for example when hes getting a kidney shot from a multilate): "I`m going to get much dmg now". If you think that`s dumb? it isn`t, if i can expect incoming dmg of a rogue, i can normally heal against it, and we win the mana war.
:o i hope i didn`t really miss your point. In fact all that i can say is that we don`t have trouble against rogue/8/11/42 whatever.

To multilate vs shadowstep. Multilate gets 20% more heal in fact. But he can`t do as much sustained dmg as a rogue, if they are focussing each other. So in fact the only big dmg that comes from the multilate is while he`s kidney shotting. I never had real
problems removing his poisons (just keep abolish poison up ALL the time). We have never lost to multilate :/ i can`t tell you more.

Anora: You are telling me that the warrior/paladin team is focussing you? :o I never had one team like that. they always faced my rogue, and f
MithosMay 9, 2008 - 10:35 AM (HideShow)
or him it`s much harder to kite a warrior. If they focus you, your tactic will work.If not, i doubt that you can do much about that. But that`s just from my experience. other RP`s other strategies, other tactics of enemys.

Factionz: there was a clip from mooshie/neilyo, showing that one can even beat them with their tactic. Generally what they try (and that shouldn`t work) is waiting for a
situation were they can turn the fight quickly to their advantage (well timed fear -> blind -> sap (if you take one insignia in the fear, which you shouldn`t do, but sometimes need to :o. But that all depends on failures of the druid.A druid should always keep the distance to the priest. -> No fear, no problem.
okay^^ back to the topic. If you can`t get to the priest you must face the rogue. But if there is one shadowstep/whutever rdy, and you can get to the priest, you should do that. If your druid keeps cool, prevents manaburns, doesN´t get feared. you should win everytime.
ZandireMay 9, 2008 - 12:19 PM (HideShow)
It's MUTILATE, m'kay.
We don't find dreamstate/rog hard at all with resto/rog, as the druid can't heal bursts when you get into the rogue good enough.
AnoraMay 9, 2008 - 1:28 PM (HideShow)
I'm not saying they are focussing me but they switch to me when they see a window where I'm a bit careless with the pala near me. And anyway if they don't switch from time to time i'm free to cyclone/dps which is even better
SarazenMay 11, 2008 - 11:24 AM (HideShow)
Can anyone post a strategy for Pala/Lock please?
KìaraMay 12, 2008 - 5:35 AM (HideShow)
Can anyone put in a Strat for Discpriest/Rogue?
MooneternalMay 13, 2008 - 6:18 PM (HideShow)
Against disc priest rogue it's quite simple, Kill the priest, survive the rogue. If you're rogue is decent he'll be able to kill it after a couple minutes or even less if he gets lucky, druid's job is to CC the rogue and you can help dps if you're not getting pressured at all(as a druid).

Against Pld/lock, your rogue just stays on lock(stunning-kicking him) and wait pally goes oom, druid needs to stick to the pally to not let him drink. Also, druid needs to kill lock's pet(REALLY easy to kill it as ds, put IS + MF and wrath 2-3 times, he's dead.).

These 2 combos are pretty easy to beat... you have the advantage.

GeridonMay 15, 2008 - 7:19 PM (HideShow)
how about a mirror match strat?
DarthvictorMay 24, 2008 - 9:33 PM (HideShow)
Well im Darthvictor from Nordrassil and my fellow 2v2 partner Pwnertrolli. We made a 2v2 team a few days ago we were doing well untill we hit 1570 then we were doing bad on dps so i decided to go Dreamstate. It does work really nicly but u have to have good gear maybe 1 or 2 veng and rest pvp gear otherwise it doesnt work. To wrap this all up if you and a rouge/warrior need more dps GO THIS!
GaidrenMay 24, 2008 - 10:28 PM (HideShow)
Double DPS teams are definately the biggest headache we have playing as DS/rogue (highest rating was 1970). We've tried focusing the rogue, focusing the caster....it always seems to end with a CC chain on my rogue and my death. We occasionally win via my rogue finding theirs, and sapping it....giving us 10 sec of 2v1. If the other team has a human rogue though it's pretty much a total auto-loss :/
TrunarMay 26, 2008 - 8:35 AM (HideShow)
Well in my opnion we are having a new threath .. Warlock warrior duo DPS combo ... I know its only a good team against us when they have a human .. but we meet alot of them .. and we cant seem to win .. since they almost finde me in stealth all the time ... or my rogue .. and then i get MS effect .. and i have a pet who takes my NG .. and silences me .. and the warrior use his fear whem ever i have a sek to cast or a death coile come and pwns my ass ... what do you recomend ? Cuz we are getting kick assed.
TrunarMay 26, 2008 - 8:36 AM (HideShow)
But much other of all Duo dps team .. we only lose if we are abit unlucky or we fail major ...
MithosMay 31, 2008 - 8:07 AM (HideShow)
@ Trunar : Warlock/ Warrior, i guess that`s a team we never met but i think it can be managable. The target you should focus is the warlock. You point out that they have the first hit on you. I advise you to start agressivle, normally, if your rogue sprints in, and shadowsteps the opposing warlock, they shouldnt really see you , and even if. Sprint + Shadowstep should get your rogue to the warlock before the warrior charges. The first hit should make things alot easier for you. If you are afraid they are going to kill you if you come to near, you should only try to root the warrior...
The warlock shouldnt be able to get too much dmg off on your rogue. So it`s only the warrior, and this should be outhealable. If you want to play lame, and i advise you so, then stay at 40yard range, only give 3x lifebloom , rej. all the time. I don`t think they should get your rogue down that way, and you are far away to be intercepted.

-> this way it should work.

KatsuroJun 2, 2008 - 4:31 PM (HideShow)
Best strat for Priest/Rogue is stick the priest?? This is the one team that we have been inconsistent with and I think is causing our speedbump from going on the rise.

We typically open on the priest and I will Cyclone the rogue when he opens on my rogue, if they don't get the jump on us first. I am just looking for any extra thoughts that I can share with my rogue to get us past this block.
GustorJun 2, 2008 - 9:19 PM (HideShow)
I've played plenty of disc/rogue games, and actually it works quite well to let your rogue focus theirs and you will win because abolish+mana regen is superior to dispel and mana burn if you know how to dodge mana burns. A great tip is to let your rogue shiv their priest as much as possible, preventing fear-> mana burn
FlariaJun 5, 2008 - 1:05 PM (HideShow)
any advice against (MACE)_(STUN) warr+restodruid if i can't manage to stick to the druid long enough for a kill? ;P
KatsuroJun 6, 2008 - 1:04 PM (HideShow)
My team has actually done fairly well on the War/Druid teams so far. Typically what we will try to do is separate them. My rouge will go off on the druid and I will kite the warrior around, putting down DoTs, rooting, cyclone timed starfires. He will eventually get low or force the druid to come back to the warrior and that gives my rogue enough time to catch him and get back on him. Or when the warrior gets low, I will call for a ShS to the warrior and we will burst him down.
PeanutbutterJun 18, 2008 - 6:24 PM (HideShow)
@ Flaria: I've only been playing this matchup a week but I find war/druid to be pretty easy. Druid controls the warrior nonstop for the entire fight, ur rogue sits on the druid, you faerie fire/moonfire/insect swarm the druid when he comes in los & range to hasten his demise -- I usually don't spend much effort on dpsing the warrior as he spends a lot of his time in cyclone, and if he's not in cyclone he has second wind healing up the dmg I'm doing anyway; and I'm more worried with making certain I get my controls down cuz all a druid needs against a rogue is a few seconds of pressure lifted to get his health back up; and a good warrior will go after your rogue any way he can.

Beating war/druid depends heavily on fantastic execution of CC by your druid, and intense pressure from the rogue, assisted by occasional dots & armor pen when ur dreamstate druid can.
AnubirisJun 19, 2008 - 12:59 AM (HideShow)
M8, u should really write something down about mirror matches. I believe that dps should be focused on their Druid, while rogue should be CC`d. If u play good enough, against a descent teams basically a chance to win is 50/50%. Everything depends of the opposite team`s tactic and how lucky You are with resist/dodge stuns things. Please correct me if i`m wrong cause i started playing DS/rogue just a few days ago and don`t have really much experience with it.
IntensifierJun 20, 2008 - 6:14 PM (HideShow)
Write something for ret pally/rogue.
niether one is a viable option for me.
i get the rogue to 10%, he gets a bubble with a vanish.
and they finish my druid off.
we are 1-7 against them.
they have tanked us from like 1880 to less than 1800.
VarminJun 20, 2008 - 7:26 PM (HideShow)
One key to beating dps/healer(excluding priest) teams is the rogue swapping to double wounding if the other dps is just attacking him. This will significantly increase your upkeep up wounding and make almost any game with the rogue tanking a win.

Priest teams: FF priest, your rogue should know how to kill a priest quickly. If the rogue gets on your rogue, you are free to dps the priest and make him drop.

Double DPS is the main bane of Dreamstate because of no swiftmend. Simply try to peel /kite/los as long as possible using as many stuns/cc/etc you have. If you can outlast a double DPS team's burst, you can win. If the rogue can force a trinket with a stun early and get a full DR blind -> sap, have the druid help dps the other quickly, sometimes if the druid simply pew pews instead of runs, both dps will be low enough for the rogue to mop up (use your own judgment).
IntensifierJun 20, 2008 - 8:09 PM (HideShow)
...1-10
theyve tanked us well over 100 rating now.

Queue dodging is your friend.
IntensifierJun 21, 2008 - 2:13 PM (HideShow)
while this is true, there were only like four teams playing then.
so obvious answer is to stop playing.
but we figured there had to be some way that we could win.
one thing i didnt get a chance to try is 1v1ing the ret pally, making my druid wait as long as possible to heal me (20% or so) then trying to keep the pally off him.
im sure i can 1v1 a pally into a bubble without dying >_>
PuppydogJun 22, 2008 - 8:42 PM (HideShow)
i've played this combo to 2100, and i've gotten my resto druid to 2k, with this combo, with 3 losses. on BG9, alot of these strats are wrong.
PuppydogJun 22, 2008 - 8:48 PM (HideShow)
double dps is free points. every double dps team should be close to 100% win except double rogue.
AnnihilusJun 26, 2008 - 4:43 AM (HideShow)
I'm thinking about doing this combo with a Druid that insists on speccing 41 points into Balance. I noticed that the Dreamstate Rogues stop at Moonkin form, why exactly is this? I
MithosJun 27, 2008 - 6:29 PM (HideShow)
"quote : double dps is free points. every double dps team should be close to 100% win except double rogue. "

ok. this is why it is difficult to find tactics everyone likes. While you say double dps is free win, most here might say they are incredibly strong against us.
However, i think that double dps is not so difficult. The only thing that is important is that your rogue doesn`t let hisself getting cc`d -> they can kill you. Some rogues already said that "cloaking a sheep" or whatever is not possible. and this is the point. The only clue about double dps is playing without doing failures. This does, however, not mean that double dps is stronger.
Note : this was a very general comment.

@ Annihilus :
1) If you go much further in the balance tree you will lose nature`s swiftmend -> very vulnerable for double dps / strong crits
2) You lose much healing power in order to get " a bit" more dmg // trees as dm

WhitebloodJul 3, 2008 - 8:40 AM (HideShow)
I am playing this combo atm with a balancekin/resto. And we have some serious troubles vs rogue/rogue. Anyone strategy vs that?

Simply lots of them are human(preception) rogues and sap me and find druid quick and nuke the sh*t out of him with 2 blinds on me in a row. :(
KhoweJul 3, 2008 - 8:30 PM (HideShow)
May be a retarded question... but you're still wearing all healing gear for this spec right? lol.
KhoweJul 3, 2008 - 9:13 PM (HideShow)
actually. yeah, so i've been looking at the top rated 2v2 teams, and I've yet to see a dreamstate druid... is it as good as people think?

I am having a few problems regarding my damage donw in 2vs2 with a dreamstate druid Shs rogue i keep refreshing EA and rupture but i always come way being damage against say a mirror match. Anyone got any ideas or tips to help me improve?

I m playing with a druid who is 8/11/42... and dunno if I should ask him to change to dreamstate... can u guys plz tell me what is better dreamstate druid / rogue or resto druid / rogue
PedotreeJul 9, 2008 - 12:43 AM (HideShow)
@Skynight have him play whatever he feels comfortable with. If mana and damage seem to be an issue, then have him spec dreamstate, but there are plenty of druids who play deep resto with rogues and do fine.

@Khowe Yes, you wear full healer gear, and it is very powerful and has very few counters
BantadJul 9, 2008 - 1:22 AM (HideShow)
Any suggestions on rogue/rogue and priest/rogue teams? Atm we're just trying rogue on priest and druid cc rogue as good as possible, seem ok.. can win at least 50% of those.. vs rogue/rogue it's much worse.
Our druid always get killed really fast and our rogue can't do much about it, esp if they're alliance with perception.
Any hints at all?
Thanks.

would be great if someone had some tips on how to win against rogue/rogue.
HomicideguyJul 11, 2008 - 4:08 AM (HideShow)
hmmm im by no means an expert....1830 my highest rating ever. but one thing to remember....just take your time. this is a laid back match. if you dont burst the pet down when you first sap the lock, wait till you got a chance to. fellhunter will be on your druid....either throw a well placed blind/cyclone on druid, los with the pet and off it. or just catch the druid slipping and kill the pet while he is being a dumb ass :)....the key is to not make it look too obvios when you do it.
while you bide your time waiting for the oportune moment, stay glued to the lock. dont let him fear anything.make sure you save your cloak of shadows defensivly. and dont go crazy spamming hemo either....make sure you got energy for kicks, gouges and kidney shots. a locks dps IS monster....but you are certanly damaging the lock faster than he is damaging you.
you can straight up focus the pet and try to oom the druid.....sort of what i think mithos said. but i dont have the balls to try that

Is there any possible way we could get a strat vs ret pally/rogue? (Both human -_-)

Rogue saps me opens on druid, he trinkets CS evasions kidney so I blind him which he gets BoP'd out of, vanish fails and druid dies.

would like to see comments bout moonkin/rogue i m 1726 atm but at least those war/droods are usually free wins.rogue/caster teams remain the biggest trouble dependin mostly which rogue will open 1st on enemy caster i think.i find moonkin/rogue much easier to play than rogue /mage as it makes us able to afford few mistakes due to droods flexibility

I haven't read every comment here, because there's far too many(so dont insult me if my question has already been answered); but i was wondering what the strat would be for the following teams:
Priest/Rogue, also note if we should kill a different target depending on whether they're mutilate
Druid/Rogue
Dreamstate/Rogue
UA/Shadowpriest.

If you could somehow post these strats maybe or mail them to me in game? i would greatly appreciate it!! thank you!

When i first wanted to level a druid i wanted to be Moonkin, but with so much people looking for resto naturally i did, Well im in full S2 with all vinds and ive realized i want to change things up.

My question is im going to swich to either full balance or go 34,27 so im a hybrid, with doing so how should i go about my gear? Should i keep my full S2/vinds kodohide or mix it up with some DPS pices? Any advice will be usefull so if you know anything please reply, Thanks.

opxone you should go 34/o/27 and get only resto gear ... it s the best for druid/rogue

As for paladin warrior — i suggest to play as double dps team with rogue locking the paladin after trinket and bubble are used.
Here is what worked for us:
0. Start of with doting warrior to full and put as much pressure as u can.
1. Shs+kick paladins 1st heal,
2. 2x cyclone paladin
3. Cyclone warrior.
4. Sap paladin (that may sound crazy but most paladins go OOC while target cycloned) else gouge.
5. Druid dpsing warrior in that time
6. Rogue kicking another heal.
7. Rogue vanish+cs+kidney+gouge paladin

I went into details abit but main concept is: when paladin isnt cycloned rogue is on him and druid killing warrior, conserving energy for final burst when paladin will be cycloned again.

Mirror match plx?

Pally warrior what we'll usually do is my rogue will rape the paladin, shiving mind numbing constantly. I'll keep IS and moonfire on the warrior with the occasional wrath. The moment the pally bubbles it's imperative that you cyclone or LOS the warrior from his healer.

Pally will rip his hair out trying to heal two targets through a rogue and mind numbing.

Mirror match: Go on the other teams druid unless you can spot t6 on the other rogue in which case you focus primarily on him. Hug druid until he LOS's your rogue or gets away, then dps their rogue down. The point of this comp is to have constant seamless switches which will destroy mana pools. Once the opposite druid has full hots/abolishes on the rogue, swap back to him and re-cc the rogue.

If you're ShS fighting a muti rogue, it's very important to have communication between your druid and your rogue. Muti can destroy a druid in a matter of seconds with lucky crits.

i'm looking for a guide versus shaman/warlock. we're 1/1 against em, and we got lucky on the win. theyre like +15minute fights as dreamstate, but i would like to read a guide to see if we did everything we could. ehh, toughest fight in all of my 2s, hands down. we did well though, both matches lasting +15mins. our loss was epic, just me versus warlock/pet.. we all have no 3%hp, 0mana. EPIC fight!

What do we do against double rogue? I can usually last 30-45 seconds but then I die.
ThexiaAug 1, 2008 - 2:06 AM (HideShow)
Er, I'm the dreamstate. Forgot which character I had on here.

On our way to 2050 we really only had trouble with double rogue. If anyone could come up with a strat that would be great.
AtreyoAug 3, 2008 - 4:07 PM (HideShow)
Thexia.

If your rogue can find 1 of the others that would be great but if the doesnt it can become trickier. Our tacc we go with is that we assume that I cant find one of the rogues and they find my druid. I jump 1 of them, cheapshot, kidneyshot (here most of em trinket, blind him). Vanish then and jump the other rogue with cheapshot, and nuke him down. Then its just to finish 1 of them of.

So I am gonna try dreamstate with my ShSrogue, we have gotten to 1601 rating at best and I don´t seem to be that comfortable in full resto. Sure I can solo a rogue, I think that´s it hehe, but it´s not fun, and we all know 1 spec can be really good for a person, but shit for another.

Should we play offensive all the time or should I still function as the healer for us? And just dps when I am not pressured. Or do we have to go offensive right away so they get pressured and need to heal so I don´t need to take dmg, cause dreamstate is abit less survivability.
