I am new to the dk class, since the class is new itself and i am little bit confused after meeting Good dks -)
Specifically when dks is pairing with some kind of healer when do we burst?

I managed to develop some kind of "strategy" fighting DK 1v1 which basically involved gouging +running away to re-open, waiting out for everything a lot but this seems to fail hard when DK has a healer since every time we try to burst he has smth to pop and running away diminish pressure while he can still own my partner meanwhile. Even with like 100 resilience the survivability is sick..

The problem is specifically dk+pala combinations in different setups where dk just peel me too hard from a paladin and force to switch to him. And switching is just meh. Fails hard. Especially some kind of frost dks that can slow every now and then. Anyway...

Can you please point on your weaknesses in most popular specs? thx

Get a priest or druid, a shaman isn't much help against a DK peeling you. The only thing I can say, is hope to god you can get the paladin to bubble before you run out of cooldowns >.>

I can get him to bubble using most of my cds but then we are just running in circles and nothing happens. Paladin has bof when needed and i am getting either a slow or deathgrip and hoj is out of cd too, if i trinketed first one. Till some of my cds are up again my shaman is either dead or oom.

But the question was: is it completely impossible to kill the dk even if he is full valor with no resi? With either switching to him or training him full time or smth. He is doing raid dps which is pretty much impossible to survive.

We have done the CC pally kill DK before. IT works if the Dk has pve gear on and is "squishy" you have to get a blind,fear on them. i know you are rogue shaman, and the only way you will beat them is if you can get hte pally to blow his trinket and bubble and then get a good CC rotation, ie blind, sap, earth shock? i just would not recommend it.

They've got Hex, and yes, if the DK is in full pve gear, you should be focusing him, just keep interrupting the paladin, and go for a hex > trinket, blind > bubble, and then you should be able to kill the death knight within the 2nd hex.

Good DK pala teams can coordinate defensive cooldowns with CC, so you might have some trouble there.

Open with Vanish+CS on the DK so he can't use his defensive cooldowns, once CC on the sticks.

overlapping your stuns before ibf is important, if he trinkets(a stun) and blows ibf blind him and kill his pet. if after downing the pet u can vanish sap the dk do so, wait it out, ibf will come down shortly after that. Then procede to kick his pve wearing ass.

also, a big thing a lot of good dks will do is when a rogue opens on them they will have there pet naw just before cheapshot ends so that they can get ibf off with having to use trinket. a lot of good rogues make sure they blow evasion and face the ghoul while dpsing me so that they can avoid that gnaw.

also if u here a parry of have him dodge an attack and you are low u better be spamming dismantle.

Check out Dewizzle's 2v2 clips in the shaman forum, it's dk/hpal V sham/rogue for a start.

Other than that, shocking a heal and then hexing the pally when the DK is kind of close to 50% will usually draw a bubble/trinket. Do it again when Hex comes back up to get the other, then blind and go for the kill. Can also wait for the next hex cd to really be sure, but you'd have to have been doing the other hexes pretty much asap when the cd comes up. Focus on shocking Holy Lights, since Flashes shouldn't be able to keep up your dps.

You can also ground Grip, so if you are on the pally, have him drop a grounding to try and catch the first grip and give you some time to work.
