Im on beta, and I can honestly say warlocks and unbugged rogues are trash.
You get crit for 10k on beta with mut because its dealing 50% more damage per poison, not just 50%. So that wont last. Expect rogues to be critting for 4k total, again. The damage wont go up for us at all.
So..
Pallys - Excellent tanks, excellent healers, still not great in pvp because their hots are situational, but still, aoe heal, instant heals, and a flash heal is stupid. Ret OFC is unbelievably OP and blizz wont be doing anything to change that because they are useless.
Warriors - PVP gimped out the ass, TG is the only hope for wotlk war pvp and with a 15% hit penalty on it they are screwed. Their lack of on demand mechanics is showing painfully, no warriors in dozens of arenas skirmished says somthing.
Death Knights - when the dust settles, they wont be anything in pvp. They have limited interrupts, a shit snare unless they spec frost, and will have a niche 2s setup with frost mages. Their pets were OP and now they arnt, so dont expect dozens of top 10 DKs because the class wont be anything special, but the 45 second after dieing rez is stupid, overpowered, and needs nerfed severely, because blowing up for 5k is balanced.
Shamans - Ele is shit in pvp, and pve. Enhance has potential but atm is gimped because of broken damage (low). Resto needed spirit link, without it they are the most CCable healer in the game, I feel for resto shamans. They had a niche by buffing warriors insanely with windfury, but now they dont bring anything special to the table. Its sad, and wrong.
Hunters - BM is stupid. You have 20 seconds to be the most overpowered thing since sliced bread, then you are trash with a fancy, useless pet that deals most of your damage while you cant move and get face raped. Survival is stupid with its RNG out the ass, its the new MS warrior, and marks is right in between and decent.
Druids - Resto is hurting, because burst is so rediculous. Feral is trash, but balance while bloated is looking viable. Its an improvement, and while resto is not completely worthless, the pvp potential is limited, since CC is integral to druids in pvp but tree form cant do any, and putting yourself in the open in the current damage fest is suicide.
Rogues - After the mut fix, its basically 3 trees. Assassination, hit for crap and apply poisons, combat, get rediculous energy and spend it all on crap, and shadowstep, which is dance around like a nat and hit like one too. The damage and sustainability is too divided and kills the class at this point. AR Prep?
Mages - Deep freeze is rediculous damage, keeping someone in a frozen state for 30+ seconds while casting instant fireballs and ice lances for 3k all the time is unacceptable, and touching them gets you stuck in more freezes. The tree is so RNG based its like a survival hunter, some times you wont be able to deal 10% of someones hp and other times you will kill them in 3 seconds.
Priests - Hurting in my opinion, but not as broken. Disc is ok, but relying on bubbles hurts priests because of dispell spam, and penace is good, but overall not enough improvement to make up for spiked trainwrecks of dps. The mana changes also hurt, because priests are the most mana inefficient pvp healers without shadowfiends.
Warlocks - Completely broken to the point no one will pvp with one on beta, its sad and deplorable that this class went from balanced in s3 to hurting in s4 to trashed in wrath. It has recieved no buffs and the teleport is too limited. You can still 2 shot pets, potentially 1 shot, because they dont scale at all. No paranoia removes their team viability, and they need pet dispells because its their purpose outside of light damage from dots, they dont burst and they take way too much damage. Armor changes limit their damage, and pets are still squishy as fuck.
In summary, I hope you are a mage or pally because they are gonna be soooooooo stupid op.
